placed order for pens; they leaked and I sent 30 pens back, waiting, then you sent the same defective pens. The second time I called and the girl assured me a refund was coming and I could just trash the pens or whatever. I called later in the day because I noticed the shoddy customer service, then the second girl, who would not give her name, was giving me grief and stalling my refund, now wanting more pens to be sent back. I was disgusted after so much wasted time and aggravation, and just demanded my money back. She hung up the phone. I called again and spoke to another girl , and again after that, and I just want my refund and no more trouble. Please have a MANAGER CALL ME to discuss this. Thank You

I placed an order for a small amount of product so I could view the quality and imprint on it not knowing I could get one sample. When I went to return the product and place an order with the imprint they would not take back the product and have terrible customer service folks answering the phones. Who only wanted me to place yet another order. It states on their site that they take back product that is not printed but only under their terms. They just lost a customer over $100 which is not very savy. I would never recommend this company to anyone wanting custom items.

1 star only because I had to. My order came and instead of receiving 400 pens of assorted colors, I have 200 red and 200 purple. No contact was made ahead of time to see if I would like to change my order because stock was low. I emailed customer service but after more than a week no one has responded. I called today only to be hung up on by the customer service person who tried to tell me they only have to give me 3 colors (but didn't) which is not stated on their website. Called again, this time was told stock was low and couldn't be filled, no procedure in place to tell you this should you want to cancel your order. Only willing to reduce the cost of the order NOW that I have called!! What will I do with 400 pens in only 2 colors? Never ordering here again! Look at all the bad customer service in this month alone. This company has some firing to do to clean house before no one is interested in their products. I agree with David below incompetent, disorganized, and boy are those customer service people arrogant!! The one I sent an email picture to had the nerve to email me back her sassy snotty reply.

They received our order confirmation on May 25th, and over the course of the next month, they canceled our order four times and did not know why. We would call, they would tell us the order was canceled, and when we asked why they said, we don't know, but we will get the order re-entered. I asked to speak to someone from management many times. I was promised management would call me back. I never received a call from anyone in management. Three weeks later, we finally received the order, and the imprint was wrong, despite the imprint proof being sent to us and approved. Then another week later, on June 28, we finally received the pens with the correct imprint. The only way this company can be accurately described is incompetent, disorganized, unprofessional, and arrogant! I will never order from them again, and I will actively tell potential customers not to waste time and money with this hot mess posing as a promotional pens company.

Horrible customer service. Incompetent and unprofessional !!!!!! Send us 700 bags improperly printed after 9 weeks of back and forth with an approved Proof they still got it wrong. They refuse to fix the issue, or refund us. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM !!!

Scam. You will get re-billed with a 30% late fee. There are other options. Shop around.

I am doing a bad review on this company,usually I don't like to do this, but my encounter was bad. I place an order for Pens & a diary for my church Father's Day which is tomorrow, I placed the order about 2wks ago, I waited to receive the order last week to no avail, I then called this Monday and spoke to a very nice lady who told me that the Pens that I ordered were out of stock but no one had communicated this with me,she then replaced with similar pens for the same price,however, today is Saturday,tomorrow is Father's Day, the order hasn't arrived and no communication whatsoever, we had to shop for an alternative gift to give tomorrow for Father's Day.Not a reliable company.I don't recommend.

I placed an order a month ago for an expo I am doing. Never received any correspondence from them until I called to check last Friday. I was the told that no one called or sent me the confrontation email as they were supposed to. I was then promised rush service and next day shipping. Get two emails the next day for the orders, they’re shipped ground and won’t be here until next week… After the expo. Called and was basically told that there were no noted that show this, yada yada. This is my first expo and now I’m assed out with nothing to have at my booth. The lack of empathy or account is disgusting and I will never do business with them again. Cheaper isn’t always better.

National promised delivery of product and charged me for branded products. Placed order over 2 months before my event, 3 weeks prior they say that I will not receive my order in time because they didnt have enough inventory.

We ordered a large quantity of mugs after being reassured they've not had any issues with them. After following up with clients that received the mug, we found out that almost every mug holds water in the casing after the 1st wash. I contacted our rep with National Pens regarding this then was rerouted to a different dept. I had to leave several messages before anyone contacting me back, even after contacting the rep again. When we got a call back we were told we would have to send a minimum of 15 mugs with the water in the casing back to Nat'l Pens to be evaluated for a possible partial refund. I had to contact customers to see if I could retrieve these mugs! When I contacted Nat'l Pens back regarding this, then the number changed from 15 to at least 45. Now since Covid, they don't answer their phones. I have left multiple messages. The rep I originally had no longer works there. I'm stuck with 200+ mugs that are JUNK that I spent close to $1000 on. And evidently am never receiving any kind of refund. Do NOT recommend!

wrong sending, i send it back and an oscure threat folowed. they want me to pay for something i haven't. They use gangster practices to get money even when they don't have right no more. it is a firm run by bandits

Horrible customer service. I placed an order weeks before Mother's Day, that was supposed to arrive prior to the date, they emailed me two weeks later saying they didn't get the photo when I clearly uploaded it online. Once sending them the photo via email, they emailed me back 3 days later saying they didn't get the photo. Long story short, this company is horrible, and when they can't meet deadlines, they will blame the customer. I've now requested a refund via email 4 times, and no one will respond to my email.

Customer service is awful! Ordered pens in mid February which arrived in late April, looked great until I noticed the one that had been in my handbag for 2 days, had a lot of the print scratched and missing.... not a look we'd like to present to clients! Contacted the company to try and sort and there the problems started............ OMG could not understand their sales agents on the phone, asked to be transferred to another person and got berated and told no! Continued to try and sort but ended up giving up after sending an email with a picture of the problem to the email address given........... email bounced back 3 days later ' no such address '. Phoned again, further issues with language, argumentative and difficult staff. Being spoken over, argued with, not listening, will not answer any questions with an actual direct answer.. 101% frustrating and not getting anywhere fast... I have never felt so frustrated on the phone with a business. Hung up, cooled down and tried again............ Different agent, same approach!!!! Repeatedly asked to speak to a manager, was told I was.......... suddenly I wasn't............ Finally got put through and asked if I was now speaking to a manager, yes, and I could understand her. She confirmed the person I spoke with prior was NOT the manager as he falsely stated. She seemed very helpful and empathetic, said she'd get things sorted, asked for more pictures which I sent and she confirmed she had received. A solution will be found..... I stated I was now at the end of the road with the company, require a 100% refund including the $70.00 postage which was charged much to my surprise........ apparently its written in the 'small print' at the end of the offer I responded to. Asked to have the pend picked up and returned to them as of no use to us as they looked worn. Made it clear I would not use them again and would encourage others to really consider their options also based on my experiences. Told I would hear back from her the same day, within the hour.... Yup too go to be true! I called again two days later, was told I couldn't speak to the same person until I had explained to the telephone person who I was and what I was calling about......... Yeah nah............. finally spoke to who I needed to. What happened to my call back, reply to email, refund, update???? "Oh yes, sorry, I should have got back to you.... its been processed.......... blah blah blah......." It hadn't been fully processed it turns out, she'd made no attempt to communicate with me. I' hoping the refund does show up on my account, if not I'll be calling back and start the long winded, pleasant process of trying to get the $400.00 refunded again. Bottom line is that this company is good at marketing, good at selling, BUT does not provide a level of customer service that comes close to what is acceptable. I don't agree that the customer is always right, however, I certainly agree the customer should be heard, helped and communicated with in a respectful manner in a reasonable time frame, be able to speak with someone without having to jump through hoops of fire, not be blatantly lied to and that when someone politely says they cannot understand what is being said that they have the option to speak with another person. I will definitely NOT be doing any business with National Pens again and do not recommend other do.

Last year every thing I purchased was junk. Flash lights fell apart,pens ran out of ink early or came apart. Bags split.

Buyer Beware!!! I got a mailer sent to me with some “ to good to be true” prices on personalized bulk pens. I went on line and started filling out the information and got to the part to see how much they cost. The mailer was to good to be true so I decided not to purchase them. However I got a message that said Thank you for your order. Hold on..I did t order. I did t pay and they said your pens are on the way. In a panic I emailed them and said, No cancel this I am not interested and take me off your mailing list. Didn’t hear anything and I forgot all about it until a month later when I received a message letting me know my pens will be here by the end of the week. I re emailed them and said what was previously stated and told them to stop harassing me. I found a phone number and called. They told me I had the wrong email address. I said it was the only one provided and I am not interested in their scam. They asked if I would be willing to pay for them when I get them at a discounted price. I said No I am not at all interested. I said no one sends a product without payment and asked where I was calling. They said they were in Jamica. I said I reported them to ups and I do t want their product. She put me on hold and came back and said they would review my emails and get back to me in 24 - 48 hours. She said they would probably credit my account, I will find out in The email. I said I don’t have an account..she said yes you do when you ordered. I said I didn’t order. 72 hours later and no email. So I reported them to the FTC and was instructed by the mail carrier on what to do if it arrives. Ups could t help because of the way they ship their product. I am beyond mad at this point. What a scam they got going on. Ugh!

STOP!! Do not order anything from these crooks! Twisted company with no ethics. A "FREE" offer was sent to our office and then a bill for $90 come there after. This Company is fraud. I am not an owner of the company

Made an order. then found out there's a 20.00 charge to "SET UP" Called and canceled order. Talked to TONY, he refused to give last name or any type of number. As Expected. a few days later I get a notice I have a package coming.....E-mailed them telling them to stop order. NOTHING!

***BUYER BEWARE*** Received dried out pens. None worked. My email was ignored. It took 10 minutes to speak with a representative who couldn't help me. I was placed on hold for 10-15 more minutes waiting for a manager. The manager placed me on hold for 15 minutes. When he got back on, he was surprised that I was still on the line. He placed me on hold again. When he finally came back, it was to tell me that he emailed me a return ticket so I can mail back the garbage pens. And then what? Go through all of this again when they don't remedy the situation? They're keeping you on hold hoping that you hang up. I happen to have the day off. I switched my laundry, vacuumed my room, and cleaned my entire bathroom while on hold with them. DESPICABLE. THE WORST.

The worst service I've seen in years. Place order and never received a proof of art work for 3 weeks. After calling them no one knew why I never received the proof. This company started making up a logo that had nothing to do with our image and started production without my approval. Re-start the order and was told it would take 2-3 weeks for production to finish. After another 3 weeks, decide to all since nothing arrived. Agent on the phone tells the production started just a day before my phone call. The reason, GET THIS! it took them 3 weeks to transfer the payment from one order number to another! LMAO! if a company is going to lie find a better lie. Was ready to continue business with them since we custom print many products for promos. Good Bye pens.com. P.S Requested a manager contact me for the reasons above. Mentioned I was going to cancel the order if no ones called. NO ONE CALLED!
