I have just learned how sleazy this company is. They are unscrupulous and unethical. If you have to cancel a booking shortly after you have made it (9 hours), due to your trip being canceled (visa issue), You obviously have to cancel the pick up of the vehicle as you have committed to picking it up as per the booking. My booking was done at about 8pm the evening for a booking the next day at 1pm in Johannesburg. Say an 18 hours window. My flight was canceled at about 2am the morning and I have responded on the website to cancel the booking. Now the shock! rentalcars.com charge you 20% for canceling and they argue you have agreed to it? The rental company (Avis, Europcar, Thrifty's, etc) can't keep a vehicle ready for you and you don't pick it up. The rentalcars.com website only offers one option: cancel with an excessive fee of 20%. You don't know this before using rentalcars.com. So how do you cancel but don't agree to the outrageous 20%? They add a statement to the cancellation that you accept their fee. Absolutely unscrupulous! But you don't accept it! but on the other side, you have cancel? They know it and abuse the situation.

I have heard so much about XAP Credit Solution on how they help people boost their credit score and remove soft/hard enquiries from their report. I was skeptical at first but decided to give it a try, the good news is that XAP came through for me and 5 others I referred. Hi, our trip was canceled a day before we had to leave for South Africa due to a travel ban implemented by the government. I've phoned Rentalcars UK early Saturday morning hours. They fully refunded me. Agent was very helpful and kind to us. Much appreciated, thank you.

We have twice booked through this service its fantastic We arrive at the airport a lovely car is waiting for us simple to collect keys car has fuel and just drive away both times our cars were booked with Hertz also great company very good value for money no issues

Customer Service out of Orlando was decent. Late for my pick up so missed out on SUV but car was right in garage and easy to access. Car was on E but Tatienne and Lucas helped me with an instant credit to my account when I filled it up. Easy to drop off as well.

For years I used Rentalcars to book cars worldwide with no problems. BUT now !? We booked a car fir two weeks with Rentalcars at Antalya Airport last September. With Full CDW. Although our flight was to arrive after 11.30pm. The car was from a company called Circular Car Hire. The rental contract stated “Fuel policy” as Full to Full. The car was handed over to us at past midnight in a dimly lit area outside the Terminal building. The Circular Car Hire agent told us the tank was an eighth full !! But would get us to our hotel. We didn’t know the way and he had no map if the area to help ! The following morning in daylight we could see the scrape damaged low down on the rear bumper. Both the scrapes and fuel should have been marked, by the agent on the Turkish Agreement documents ( which contained minute terms and conditions, mostly in Turkish ! ) They were NOT marked on the agreement ! On our return we found a charge on our Credit Card for £56.39 (369Tl). A charge we could not recognise as it was under a different name than Circular Car Hire ? When we queried all of this with Rentalcars (after all THEY chose this company ) they have been less than helpful. Telling us to contact the Turkish Car Hire company for a copy of the Agreement Account. While in Turkey TWICE I emailled this company about the Fuel AND the Bumper damage and they have never replied. So much for Rentalcars Customer Service.

Really helpful to be able to search prices across multiple car hire firms - there's a lot of variance. However, the business model means that you book essential extras like car seats, and are then told that they're not guaranteed, which is unhelpful. They also attempt to chivvy you to buy *now* with constant pop-ups telling you that someone else has booked a car from your location, which makes it more stressful than I'd like.

Easy to book but rental companies will add hidden cost that will charge you after the booking. I don't really recommend but there is no better option for quick & easy booking. Problem is that RentalCars is just a booking platform and they have no idea what is happening at the actual renter,.. so much potential but for me it was a dissapointing experience: got charged for no reason after returning the car (no explanation).

I been rent car with then like normally But this time i got big problem i rent with protection total Centaura take me money for some scratch in the car and petrol i droop the car with the same petrol and the same scratch nobay beeb check the car with me I send a lot email call for rent car for give back my money and nobay replay This car was 120 pounds more protection 95pounds And i pay more about 200euros for centauro Is crazy

Please NEVER EVER book with this company! I wish I read reviews before booking with them. They never answer calls on emergency line, they showed up an hour late then they were supposed to,and they said that because We are late,we lost our car and our money. Plus ,we had to rent in the middle of the night from another company for a very big price.I think it’s a scam.They lure you to rent from them at a cheap price,then cancel your reservation,and after that,another company (which I think belongs to them) offers you another car at a very big price AVOID THEM!!!!!! I definitely will not book again with them

Please AVOID booking with this company! I wish I read reviews before booking with them. They never answer calls on emergency line, they misrepresent ALL the information, they will SCAM you!!!
