What a shame that the called centre that sewing quarter use to out source the call handling is so shambolic. The presenters and the channell are amazing and cannot be faulted, but all their hard work is lost on the inadequately and badly trained staff. I am a new customer and when I made my order I was not confident then. When I called to find out what was going I asked to speak to a supervisor the person I spoke then told me my contact details that the would ring on. This individual by doing this broke the data act, this act is set in law and any company or individual not follow due diligence in this process could be prosecuted and fined. Your not going to believe this but I used to manage a call center unit and this one is not fit for purpose.

Shockingly poor customer service who have little knowledge of the items they are selling, online inventory rarely accurate, and that's when the website works. Product sold elsewhere often at much cheaper prices, ie a book priced at SQ today at £15.99 plus £2.95 standard P&P, is being sold elsewhere for £11 with free or cheaper P&P. Also, SQ's standard P&P takes up to 2 weeks to arrive and you have to pay extra if you want your purchases to arrive that same week! The free material offer didn't arrive even though it was stated on the invoice and website - so a big con there. Other haberdashery stores offer free postage when you spend a certain amount, and it normally arrives within a couple of days at most. SQ's p&p is a false economy, especially when they over charge for their products. If you buy from SQ, double check your fabric order is the correct, as mine was cut short. Gave them a chance as they are a new company, but they have let me down at each and every stage. Don't buy from this company, if you want to save yourself time, effort and money. 1 point given because system wouldnt allow me to give them zero. Worse online haberdashery/shopping channel, won't be buying from them again and strongly recommend you don't either.

If I could have given no,stars I would have preferred I am a new customer with a promise off free sizers I’d order over ten pounds The order took forever to come, and when it did there was no sizers. I rang and was told they did not have anymore, and that it was in some kind off small print ,only as long as stock last on the internet, I ordere from the tv and seen nothing off this. And I should have been told on phoning in my order and how many did they have two or what who no’s it’s a con. Channel, presenters and products are good but customer experience is very poor. Have placed three orders - first was fine, second took three attempts to order including two calls to customer services and arrived almost three weeks after original order was placed despite paying an additional postage cost for quick delivery within three days! When it arrived one piece of fabric had been cut short so sent picture with tape measure to show size to customer services but they would not replace until I returned it. Cost £4.40 to return fabric worth £3.25. Did not hear from them within the 10 days promised so contacted customer services again - now have refund for postage (13 days later) but still no replacement fabric. Thought I would give benefit of the doubt and ordered again three days ago. Just got an email this morning saying order has been delayed but no explanation as to what the delay is. You need to get the customer experience sorted out quickly as it does not match the professionalism of the presenters, particularly John Scott, and guests who are working so hard to get us all to buy.

Christmas Calendar, I take it this was 2018 I purchased one this year double your price, what a load of tat 2 tape measures everyone already has, empty tiny tin, thimble ,cheap stitch picker three lots of needles a pen tiny scissors 2 cottons small sewing chalk bees wax, plastic bobbins do not fit machine a few paper hexagons washi tape you get free everywhere as they want to get rid of them, a couple of buttons, strawberry pin cushion missing the little fillings to sharpen needles everything everyone already has, would not recommend .Sewing Quarter should be ashamed to sell this

Program sometimes interesting to watch, especially when John presents, other presenters lack genuine meaningful enthusiasm which reflects greatly. Once an order is placed, sewing quarter or their main company immediate media it is extremely difficult to cancel, they ignore emails and even if you ring they refuse to cancel and refund. This is against consumer rights act 2015, but hey this company do exactly what they want to do as you have ticked the agree to terms and conditions box. AVOID

Placed order for Sewing Machine didn't send order to 3rd party had to phone 3rd party myself as they said they had nothing on thier system about my order but still took the money Said it would take 2 weeks to deliver 3rd party said that was not right as they despatch next day I will not be buying from SQ again can't trust that I will get my goods

They're selling fabrics that they claim are UK exclusives as in the only place you can buy them in the UK is from Sewing Quarter themselves. I just checked eBay and surprise surprise, they selling on there. They're just straight up lying.

What a false company, check out your order as told to get your order in basket and still don`t get it all. My first order promised free 2 mitre of fabric in April, and sent a stupid key fob with no explanation why ? After several conversations with customer service and a key fob turns up, I`m sorry to say no more orders from me. Also friends who recommended them to me also stopped ordering, as after checking out half there order not sent either. Poor service, customer service and false promises.

Very helpful staff and I’ve had loads of bargains. Recently delivery has been slower but this is probably due to the amount of goods being sold. I’ll be devastated if we loose Sewing Quarter.

I have recently taken up sowing again after twenty year break and sewing Quarter has been largely responsible both for me starting again but also my success. Hope it continues.

I love SQ. good service. Never had a problem. Hope it stays as it lets me see demonstrations and products I would struggle to get elsewhere. Fingers crossed it continues.

SQ has taught me so many new skills and excited me about sewing, quilting, bag making, toy making, embroidery. I have spent a fortune since SQ started, but always felt I was getting a bargain, or something I wouldn’t be able to find elsewhere. It seemed a perfect blend of business and community service! The presenters and team come across as real people excited to be helping more of us into sewing in all forms.

It is truly sad the situation sewing quarter finds itself in. Immediate media has a lot to answer for. Sewing quarter has been a welcome addition to the tele-shopping viewers. It is quite unique. I have ordered and received goods only 2 days ago and am awaiting further goods. I believe the staff have been put in an invidious position. I wish the programme every success with a sale and look forward to it being back on TV after cyber Monday soon.

Superb range of products and often the first to have American quilting patterns and books in the UK ... a lot of UK exclusive offers from firms, such as Elna, Coverstitch, Cricut. With Sewing Quarter TV the demos are always the full hour whether the product sells out or not. Fabrics are always top quality whether designer or not Customer Service is second to none... Books can sometimes be found cheaper elsewhere but normally the only product which can be. A low P&P for ALL day.... regardless of how big the order Love them

I purchased a horn mk2 cutting table had I purchased this anywhere else I would have had to pay someone to assemble for me it's a flat pack The delivery was swift the gentleman from horn was brilliant he assembled in no time absolutely first class a john Lewis service thanks I will enjoy my beautiful table
