Great customer service and excellent delivery speed , how ever have seen the same item still being displayed as being £100 cheaper than I paid , I questioned it when I bought it and was told they’d had to put the price up — the price I paid was excellent but it still galls a little 😏

I bought a Canon EOS 80d camera. The price was excellent and it was delivered promptly. You have to ring a number in London to confirm the order and they try and sell you an extra battery. It says on the website before you ring that you will be given a 32GB sd card free when you ring. This did not happen and although I have contacted them through the website I have had no reply. They would have got 5 stars if not for this.

East to order online, but was asked to phone the company to progress my order (making a mockery of 'online shopping'). However, this was an opportunity to sell me something! Was also later asked to phone the Billing Department - all I got was music during calls. Facebook messages were ignore. I also entered a 'discount code', which was not honoured! However, on the bright side, delivery was posted on the Friday, arriving on Monday morning.

Order arrived quicker than expected but with items missing. Customer service over the phone is terrible. Staff sound like they couldn’t care less and then stick you on hold for ages. No email response either but hoping it will get resolved soon. Planned to place more orders for my business but unlikely to take the risk now.

Great service - unfortunately the lens does not have the same number of connectors as my camera, so they don't speak 😔

Good product (thank you Canon) at a great price (thank you slr hut. Their online ordering system is absurd. Once I placed the order I received an email telling me I had to phone them to "process my order". RIDICULOUS. I phoned 5 timres but could not get through. I emailed to ask what had to be processed and received an equally stupid response from their Customer Service rep saying the order would take 2 days to process and not answering my questions. Patheric. A pity they can't make the online ordering as straightforward as their competition. I now have to buy a new camera but I am put off using them again.

The price point of this company is fantastic but I have to say everything else doesn't match up. I made a decent order on a Wednesday and was told it would be here Monday with the express shipping I had paid for, yet still hadn't even been shipped by Monday. I made inquiries with customer service, after four attempts and being on hold for over an hour, and was told it was completely out of stock. Later that day (to my amazement) it was dispatched once I said I may cancel the order. Have been informed my shipping will be refunded to me but once again I'm on hold to customer services and expect to be for at least an hour before getting through. If you're prepared for the likelihood of a bit of hassle for the cheap payment then use SLRHUT, if you're not then don't!

every thing arrived on the stipulated day the tripod is not exactly what i had ordered, though. this one takes a payload of 6.6 lbs but i had asked for upto 10.5 lbs over the phone

Excellent price for the goods. Very strange that you have to call to process the online order. This appears to be an opportunity for them to try and upsell/add to your order. The fact that I couldn't get through in the phone for 3 days meant a delay to receiving my camera. Also the website suggests it is a UK based company when in fact the staff and goods are in USA. I am not sure how these 'grey goods' will be covered if they require repair. However, delivery with Fed-Ex was good and easy to track and I am happy with the purchase. Price significantly better than UK high st shops.

Happy with the price and service from SLR Hut, however the delivery company FedEx, was awful. I paid £20 for expedited delivery - tracked it online as far as it would let me...was due for delivery on the wednesday before 6pm...no delivery. I then contacted them the next day around 2pm (having taken the day off work to be at home the previous day). The customer services in India (Im guessing from the accent) were very helpful but said it was held overnight due to a "customs check" and "should" be delivered today before 6pm. She gave me the direct number for the FedEx office in Motherwell, who, when I rang to confirm delivery, couldn't have been more customer UNfriendly. A terrible experience and tainted the excitement of receiving my new camera with bitterness over bad attitude a day late (not bad from SLR Hut directly, but FedEx are doing their fulfilment!)

The goods arrived, a DSLR bundle. The battery charger was clearly not new but scratched and not with what I think would have been the original UK adapter. The box of the actual camera was clearly not new and pretty messy. Other items seem to be OK. I needed the item for a birthday and ordered while in port overseas. Then came the 'we've tried to call you' message asking me to call them. I was not willing to call them when I was in the middle of the atlantic so waited till I got home. Then tried to call the number a number of times and got no answer. The items STILL hadn't been dispatched! I wrote some stiffly worded emails about how, due to their ridiculous policy of needing to speak with everyone before dispatch, there was little chance of the goods arriving in time for the birthday. I tried to cancel but - guess what - had to phone that same number for the cancellation to be processed. Eventually they did dispatch the goods and, to be fair, they arrived from USA by fed-ex within a few days. I would not use them again. I hadn't realised that they were dispatching from USA.

The products are always great however I have had many communication issues with the company during my order, this is frustrating as I can't handle any issues or questions quickly and the experience dragged out over several weeks.
