"headphones for my sone. I went in store-sheffield in retail park, and i asked for wireless headphones forXBOX X. I have paid \u00a379. When i gave my spns present, and we tried to conect them, guess what-the head phones did not work-As they were for plat station! All good up till now! We went back in store, and asked for a refound or to be replaced with o e for XBOX X. The guy who served us was nice, and he has checked them, but he needed a second opinion, so ge asked for the store deputy manager-and i can say she is a star! Her name is Beth, and she came with a properly atitude! After the headphobes were checked by the guy-were all new, and perfect condition, she took them in office, and guess what-she found a scratch! Which couple of minutes before was not there. Also she has said she can not cuange them as they are opened! At that time i guess i lost everything! How to not open them? If i tried to conect them? I have explained that i have asked her team for xbox x headphones, and, o aspect them to work! \r\nNow is comming the funny part! We have made a complain and the feedback received after this complain was as disapointed as you can imagine-\r\nHaving raised this with the store management team, they have advised that at the time of the sale, it has been confirmed that it was discussed which console this headset was for.\r\n\r\nFollowing this, the cashier assisted with locating and the sale of the PlayStation headset.\r\n\r\nWhen this was then returned, there were signs of use with this item and as a result of this, the store were unable to accept the return.\r\n\r\nFor unwanted returns, the item would need to be unopened, unused and in its original packaging and as it was outside of these conditions, the store would have followed policy here. Customer Services would not be in a position to overturn the decision of the Store Management team in this instance, I'm afraid.\r\n\r\nApologies for any disappointment which this may cause\r\nAfter this of course i have contacted the company to go forward with the complain, as i am not ready to give up, just because they want to sell, but not being profesional and respinsible! \r\nI find this shop team wery unprofesional and unresponible, playing with people money and destroying childrens happyness!\r\nI am sorry if i have done any mistake but please consider that english is not my first language.\r\nAll i can say is that my son is heart broken now as ge was looking forword to have a set od wireless jeadphonep"

“We’ve visited the Croydon branch looking for a mountain bike for our son. The bike he wanted was in stock and already made up in the store. Bonus! However, the bike stand was missing and could not be found in the branch so the manager Steve agreed to allow us to take the display bike with attached stand and additionally gave us 10% off as a good will gesture. Thanks to Steve the manager and the helpful Irish lad employee (apologies, we never got his name) who helped us. We have a happy boy!”

“I’ve been trying to get a PS5 for months, didn’t think of smyths, the past two drops both me and my brother were able to get one. The only website out of all the retailers that didn’t break or have to queue for, very good website and fast loading although there was a lot of traffic. Placed my pre order last week and will be delivered tomorrow!”

“Smyths were not able to meet my preorder for Xmas and offered the more expensive version for same price but I had already bought the more expensive one. So after 1 call they refunded the difference. Best and most efficient customer service I have ever dealt with.”

“Nice wide selection of toys at good prices and in these difficult times due to covid 19, a safe and secure method of collection at the Kidderminster store where we visited. Just remember your £1 coin for the trolley if you're collecting several items at a time. 10* all across the board. Thanks very much Smyths”

“I used to buy my console games from game at a silly price then saw smyths do it cheaper if you collect. The stores are great and the staff are kind and helpful and there’s some great deals as well”

“Just been to your Wigan store for car seat and the young man that served us (Nathan) was excellent, his customer service is excellent his knowledge of car seats excellent, nothing too much trouble for him, this is the second time he’s served me with car seat, i would recommend him to anyone, excellent service,”

“Went to Birstall store to exchange my granddaughter's kiddizoom camera as the SD card won't stay in. Got there and they're out of stock, no problem I said could you inform me when back in stock and save me one . No we can't was the answer you'll just have to look on Web site to see when there back in then hope we've got one left when you call. Wow even customer service was no better.”

“I used smyths for Christmas. I do click and collect to be on the safe side as it was a week before Christmas. Click and collect was easy and simple to use and il be doing this for birthdays and Christmases to come!”

“My order was dispatched very promptly. However, the courier company YODEL, were horrendous, said the parcel was delivered and signed for, even when I tracked the courier and he never came within a 10mile radius of my house. YODEL opened an investigation but said my 7 yr olds Christmas present wouldn’t arrive before Christmas because I’d signed for it when I hadn’t. Contacted Smyths customer service, who were very upstanding and they sent a replacement toy the next day, so my son had presents to open on Christmas Day. They are possibly the best customer service department I have dealt with and eased my worries. I WILL 100% continue to shop with Smyths Toy store, due to the fact of how nice and helpful the ladies in the store and customer service (Sinead) were. An A-star company. Thanks Peter”

“Had to return ps4 headset, was faulty. Dealt with an absolute gentleman, he tested the headphones, agreed they weren’t right and supplied us with new set, talking to the kid and myself pleasantly the whole time, if only all customers servers were as pleasant”
