I have no idea how Sofology has all these great reviews. The store in Chester is great, staff are helpful, but once you've signed on the dotted line, your life (and money) are at the mercy of the After Sales Team - who quite honestly, couldn't care less if you cancel or not and after waiting for months for your new sofa, will quite happy cancel when it doesn't arrive. I ordered a sofa off them in April - it was due to arrive finally on July 7th - they took it to my old address and I haven't seen it since. They initially told me it was my fault, but having gone into the store with my delivery address in hand, I proved that was not the case. A gentleman in store has been trying to help me - but all he could say was that my sofa had been returned to the depot, hundreds of miles away and until it arrived there was nothing anyone could do, but he would keep trying. Well it must still not have arrived - almost a week later. Now they don't even reply to my emails, I can not get through on the phone, (waiting is over an hour minimum and they cut you off frequently) and the 'web chat help' (that responds in minutes apparently - Not) is more than useless! After telling me there was nothing they could do until it arrives at the depot and refusing to allow me to speak to a Manager, they no longer respond at all. I have not been rude or abusive at all. So now they have left me £3000 out of pocket and siting on deck chairs!! Even the CEO doesn't respond, disgraceful! Never ever have I had the misfortune to deal with a company like this - its shocking. No wonder there are Facebook complaint groups for this company. Check them out before you buy. Because the minute your delivery goes wrong - which happens a lot - your left high and dry and totally at their mercy. Almost a week later - and no resolution. No sofa - no date - no contact and no response....... Beware!!

If you have problems with Sofolgy, which you are bound to have because, their product and customer service is rubbish, just email them and threaten to go to your local store, and tell their prospective customer how rubbish they are. I was forced to do this after they completely ignored my emails. They then contacted me within a couple of hours, and gave me a full refund.

I was reluctant to purchase from Sofology given that I had heard very mixed reviews and it seems I had very good reason to be reluctant as they have most definitely 100% lived up to their reputation. We were supposed to have our clearance sofa delivered a week ago but, the evening before, received a miss call and text message stating the sofa hadn't reached their warehouse, they are working hard to get it there and a member of the delivery team would call to rebook delivery. As yet, I have been the one chasing them and we still have no sofa or prospect of a sofa delivery. Customer Service is completely non-existent as others have said. They do not reply to web chat or the 'contact us' form and the wait on the phone is ridiculously long but perhaps that's no wonder given the amount of annoyed customers they clearly have. I eventually managed to get through on the phone two days ago after waiting on hold for nearly and hour only to be told the location on the sofa needed to be changed, which apparently was amended on the call and I was told a member of the booking team would contact me and was rushed off the line and so that was that. I am still waiting for that call or a reply to my messages. We are left without a sofa (having sold our previous one to make way for the new one) and have had to purchase a blow up sofa to save sitting on the floor which we were doing for the first few days. We have no idea when this seemingly non-existent sofa will arrive. Avoid at all costs!!!

Bought what I thought and was told a leather sofa now its started to delaminate surface coming off and it's faux leather, not happy

They have left us sitting on the floor without a sofa when after months of waiting for my sofa to be delivered, they took it to the wrong address, didn't tell me, then tried to blame me, and now the sofa is going back to the other end of the country to the depot? No delivery date, customer support is none existent and useless at best.. they really don't care. No one seems to be capable of sorting out a simple delivery.. aviod!!!

Twice been called by them to arrange delivery, given a date, and then twice they have then cancelled the delivery stating “supplier issues”. I was told they wouldn’t arrange a delivery date until furniture was there with them. So if it’s there, then why can’t they deliver? And if it’s not there then why arrange a delivery date with me??? Cannot get through on the phone at all even though they ask you to call them to rearrange!!!! Web chat response is non-existent. Got rid of my furniture in anticipation of the first delivery date. I now have no furniture, no delivery date, my toddlers are sitting on cushions on the FLOOR, and visitors due to stay with us in 2 weeks time. Absolute rubbish. Do not ever buy a sofa from these people.

Still no sofa after two delivery slots. Two days leave wasted to sit in and wait. Customer service are borderline impossible to get hold of. Avoid and use any other sofa retailer

3 hours wait to speak to someone every time I call, if I get hung up on, double that to 6. No sofa in warehouse but they sold it to me claiming it was, missed 3 delivery windows, only had the courtesy to call me one of those times. The other 2 I was left in waiting all day for a sofa that never arrived. I got rid of my sofa before the first delivery, they've cost me a fkin fortune having to buy emergency replacement sofa second hand. Their T&Cs state; if they miss delivery by more than 7 days, you're entitled to £50 off your couch. There is nothing in there to state it stops after the first one, so theoretically you can charge them £50 per delivery date missed and they have to pay it; it's in the T&C. It also states in the T&Cs that you can have replacement furniture if they miss your order. Didn't get offered that either, but they can launch a new business venture renting furniture? Screw them to hell and back, I'm surprised there isn't a Group Litigation Order for this company. Check the Facebook Group - Angry Sofology Customers... there's A LOT OF US, all with horrible nightmare stories. Eventually I cancelled my order and was offered a full refund. They didn't have a choice in the matter, don't give them a choice either.

The sofa and armchairs springs both snapped within a week, waited months for a replacement then the same thing has happened again! The customer service has been atrocious! Ignoring emails, promising to call back and not following through. It is the worst experience I've ever had with a retailer! They really do not care about the customers

Still waiting on delivery - 3 weeks after it was marked delivered. Website not accessible. 6 emails sent requesting update. 1hour on phone to eventually speak to a young lad who could resolve nothing. Now simply want my money back but can’t find anyone to authorise this. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Showroom staff promise you the world but once they’ve got your cash they don’t give a monkeys!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Been waiting 4 months for it to get a delivery day today and it hasn’t showed. Absolute waste of effort. Cost us a 3 hour round trip to our other house, cost of van rental and cost us both a days work. You will wait 3 hours in a queue for any customer service which is also useless!!!

Paid for sofa in full. Paid to have the old sofa removed. Was given a date for both - with the old one removedday before delivery. Then waited in all the next day for sofa, which didn’t arrive. Two whole days off work and now sitting on a bean bag. The phone line takes 2 hours to get through. I’ve paid in full and have no sofa. No responses to any emails. I suspect this company is knowingly taking payment, with great show rooms, staff and on- line buying and then: Just not supplying the items bought. I phoned my friend from my bean bag (!) to say how upset I was and she said “ o yeah everyone knows how bad sofology is” I’ve never known anything like this in any industry. It’s bizarrely bad. I feel such an idiot on my bean bag with no sofa and £1400 down. I know this is going to be so difficult to resolve. I feel so so so upset. I generally only write good reviews but feel moved to warn people : This company have only contempt for customers If you value your home, money and sanity: DONT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THEM

We have ordered a sofa from their website last month. The sofa was supposed to be delivered in two weeks but then they called to change the date to 22nd of June to which we agreed. The guy calls on 21st and says we don’t have one seat of your sofa and asks me if they can just fix the three seats and install the fourth one later. I requested to get the entire sofa assembled on a single day and they said they will deliver on 25th. We have spent hours calling them.. 1 call: spent 30 minutes and guy (Kareem) says he will call back. No call! 2. Call: 30 mins and a lady picks up and says will call you back after speaking with Kareem . Obviously no call back 3. Call 3: 30 mins wait time and the person says we don’t deal with this 4. Call 4: 90 minutes wait. Yes you read it right!!!!!! 1 hour and 30 minutes of wait and the person says let me check and puts on hold and the call drops… absolutely ridiculous! I had also asked a simple question related to the sofa we ordered six times on emails and chats. Everytime you write on chat but no one available. You ask them a question and you receive a standard reply “bla bla bla” You then reply asking your question again to the email you have received. Again standard reply” bla bla bla bla” They don’t have people working there and my guess they just use bots or service agents who just have one repl” bla bla bla” How hard is it to read one line email ?? I guess they simply don’t care. I am thinking to cancel my order because this is pre sale and only god knows what will happen should something go wrong. I might be able to get a reply from the PM in this country but certainly not any staff at Sofology…. Mind you this is after we spend thousand of pounds on an overpriced sofa Update 1: We called them again on Saturday and after 4 hour and 30 minutes of wait we did get hold of someone who said will call back Monday, today. Waiting for that call....... 4 hour 30 minutes wait and you heave read that right!!!!!!!!!!!! …

First time last time Our purchase of a new sofa for our new build home. Let me start to say even if you opt in on insurance it does not cover the week and fragile quality of their products. The Sofa's main frame is just held up with teeth which is not secure or solid at all compared to my recent purchases from other suppliers. Even the cushions are made of cheap father and leaves the home in a right farm looking place. I'll stay away as believe they are the next company to go down like cheap Harvey's :)

This company's customer service is non existent. I have tried ringing, emails and live chat and had no response from anyone. I have completed a complaint through Resolver and will be looking for the furniture ombudsman, as now all I want is my deposit back!

Cushion collapsed after one weeks use. Apparently it's a design feature! Still waiting a year later for replacement. You can never contact them

Both sofas delivered with holes in as pointed out by Sofoflogy delivery team. Now waiting 5 months. Sofology do not answer calls or reply to emails or web chat.

Ordered in March on 12 weeks delivery, 13 weeks later and £6k paid up front no sofas. No contact. Can’t speak with anyone. Standard email replies. Estimated delivery now 21/08. Can’t believe the reviews now. Please can I speak to someone. So disappointed.
