I ordered the Riviera 3 and 2 seater, the delivery came without the headrests/backrests for my 3 seater. I have been trying to get in contact with someone for 3 days now, they said they will deal with it within 24 hours.. Customers service is shocking, do not buy from this place! Will be visiting the shop today and not leaving until the issue is resolved.

Worst experience ever . Can’t stress enough how bad this company is and the wait to get through to customer support is out of this world . Would not recommend this company , save yourself the mental torture . Still waiting for my headrests after they didn’t bring two of them and reassured us that it will be delivered today . Nope will not be using this company again ever . 😡

I payed £4200 for the Benz leather 3&2sofa received in June and is now saggy and has a duvet technician come to look at it. What he did was not what we were expecting he bounce up and down now have to wait 12weeks for parts would not Recommend

I strongly advise against purchasing the Ezra corner sofa with a heating function. The problems started right away - the fabric on the armrest was sewn incorrectly, and the zipper in the rear cushion was clearly noticeable and noisy. While these issues were fixed after a few days, more glitches quickly emerged. After just a few months of use, the heating mat on one of the seats stopped working. The service is a disaster - you can feel the cable from the mat under the fabric, and my seat was cut and sewn with one thread. This is absolutely unacceptable! All defects result from manufactured and poor quality parts!!! Now another heating mat has stopped working and I have been told that I have to wait 12 weeks for new parts, even though the sofa is only 10 months old and is covered by the "Sofa Shield" program. I expected much better quality and service from a piece of furniture costing £4,000. Instead, I can't fully enjoy its features. I am very disappointed with both the product and the customer service. I absolutely do not recommend it!

I've been waiting to speak to someone in customer services at Sofology for 25 minutes with no response or idea of when I will get a response. Wanted to discuss a new sofa with them but will go elsewhere now.

Absolutely awful company, please do not use Sofology. It is hands down the worst customer service I have ever received from a business. I placed an order on 16th September for a sofa which was in stock and could be delivered within 7 days and I am still trying to sort out issues with it now on 15th November. They messed up my delivery twice by sending it to the wrong depots and offered me a credit which they then didn't apply. I have raised a complaint about their service and they've closed my request twice now as I haven't been able to reply within the 2 hour deadline they've given me. I'm still trying to sort this 2 months later...

Sofology damaged my property on delivery and refuse to take any responsibility or compensate. I am going to the ombudsman now. Avoid them

Such a worse service. We got the sofa from sofology. The leather started pealing off from various areas. The repair service was so expensive. Not at all customer friendly

This company is the worst I have dealt with in a long time, failing in nearly every aspect. Both of my new sofas were delivered damaged, so I requested replacements for both. They attempted to send only one replacement, falsely claiming that was all they agreed to. When I pointed out the discrepancy, the representative tried to excuse her lack of recall by saying it was a long time ago, despite the fact that everything is documented in emails. When the replacement sofa finally arrived, it was also damaged. Despite dealing with the same person throughout this ordeal, she recently misgendered me in emails. This company should be avoided at all costs—I deeply regret not being more vigilant.

DO NOT BUY! They said intially that it will be delivered within 3 weeks over the phone whilst placing the ordered, they really did sweet talk us. They lied to us they extended our order from 3 weeks to then 6 weeks then 7 weeks, no emails, nothing we had to call to confirm this. I checked if they had the right details they did. They got £3000 from us and we still don't have a sofa. We emailed and chased for 4 days they lied said its at the depot when finally on the last day we asked to speak to higher up they chased up on the order, the order wasn't at the depot. The reply we got was "supplier is on a summer shut down" so we don't even know if the order is made. Horrendous company. Should have spent more money and got a west elm sofa, at least they deliver and stick to timelines.

Bought a sofa and chair a few months ago which is now creased and sinking. We were told by the technician who came out that there was no fault and that every time someone sits on it we should 'plump it up'. Which is completely ridiculous. After several phone calls we are no better off as we are just told the same thing. We are so disappointed and annoyed with sofology and would advise people to stay away from this store.

Probably the worst customer service have ever come across. This company charge a premium price, for a sub standard service. When I spoke to their staff, all got was lies and BS. I totally regret ever contemplating buying from them, and will never step foot in their stores ever again, If only one person follows my advice and avoids tem, I will be happy.

Terrible customer service, received a sofa that has arrived soiled, damaged and with a hole. They have said “we pride ourselves on world class customer service and apologise this has not been the case for you. We cannot change what has happened or go back in time” we are being fobbed off with a refund and £100 no replacement. They have a Mickey Mouse delivery company who did not store sofa correctly and instead of Sofology getting compensation from them we are the ones who are being punished. Very upsetting, no response to emails and been back to the store 5 times! No accountability or service recovery. Avoid like the plague!

Joining the legions of customers on here complaining. Have now experienced for myself the scam that is Sofology. Spent 1000s on leather suite and recliner, less than 2 years later the dye is rapidly coming off and areas of wear. Engineer came out and said himself the sofa has been well looked after but the dye is coming off due to whoever is sitting on the sofa. Laughable. If a sofa is not meant to be sat on then I give up. Sofashield insurance won’t pay as the damage is not deemed accidental. I have never seen a leather sofa deteriorate like this it is shockingly bad. So beware any potential customers, really think twice before wasting your hard earned cash.

Thanks to reading a chunk of these reviews, we will now need to go and source somewhere else to purchase a lounge suite. The young guy we talked in Sofology Cambridge store was very friendly, reassuring about the company, the guarantees and aftercare services. We spent over an hour with him, successfully helping us to choose the perfect sofa and now I’m really disappointed to find that Sofology products are not even close to living up an expected standard!! I think Helena Bonham Carter should re-think who she advertises for and cancel her agreement with them!!…IMHO after reading these reviews and reports (visited on 16th April 2024)

I wish I had read these reviews before I paid a deposit for a new sofa, waited 9 weeks, moved to a new home and been sat on deck chairs, service in store was fine, friendly young lady then it goes severely downhill! The guys who came to deliver really did not want to even try to get it into my house, to the point where my husband was threatened by physical violence from one of the drivers as we obviously wanted them to try get it in, they ended up saying they were taking it back to their Depot but before they left we got yet more abuse from them! To say we were upset was an understatement, we really should have rang the Police at this point but wanted to give them a chance to apologise as everyone has bad days! Rang the customer service dept and spoke to 3 different manager’s, our deposit was kept by them, despite what we had gone through!! Our neighbour witnessed everything which I’m glad about as their account was different to ours, I’ve never felt so let down by a company in my 49 years! I worked in retail and the customers were always supported by Management! We will NEVER use this company again, the only plus was the Team leader from the delivery company who couldn’t have been nicer. Do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere!!

Well, it all starts off so well, at the sale stage but then it completely goes down hill and nobody takes ownership of anything and is willing to help. Purchased two sofas from Sofology White City, Trafford. We were having the sofas delivered to a removal company so that they could be shipped with the remainder of our furniture when we moved. This meant that they would only accept deliveries between 8am-4pm and we were clear with that. Yes yes, not a problem at all so we placed the order. All rosy and fine and when the sofas were ready to be delivered we called to confirm the date and again confirmed that delivery needed to be between 8-4pm. The day before delivery and we received an email saying delivery will be between 3-7pm which obviously wouldn’t work so called and spoke to Amy who basically advised there was nothing she could do as they only offer all day slots. I explained that two of her colleagues had said that time slot of 8am-4pm would be fine (Sofology, please check your call recordings!) but she repeated there was nothing she could do. I asked for a manager to discuss further but was advised no managers were available. She said she would get one to call me back but they never did. Second call trying to resolve the issue and I spoke to Brad and we went through all the points again and he could even see the notes on my order saying delivery only possible between 8am-4pm. There were no managers but he would call me back to see if anything he could do. He said he would create a case for the complaint at the same time. No response by lunch the next day so third call made and someone quite convincing spoke to me who said he would call me back in 10 minutes after speaking to the depot. As you can guess he never called me back. Call four and spoke to Charlotte who was reassuring. I asked to speak to Brad but she said he was on holiday, his last day was yesterday. So how he expected to call me with an update from his holiday I’m not sure. This pretty much reflects my experience with Sofology and one I will never repeat again, nobody takes ownership and they just want to get you off the phone. We should have used DFS, someone we have never had problems with. Charlotte called the depot whilst I waited on the call and said they might get to the address but couldn’t guarantee it but if not she’d help out to rebook. Overall, lesson is Sofology are really happy to take your order but any follow up service is non-existent and very much “computer says no”
