We ordered a brand-new sofa from Sofology for Christmas and patiently waited eight weeks. What arrived was a beige sofa in a state you’d expect from a clearance sale, complete with visible stains on the cushions. Naturally, this was not quite what we had in mind for Christmas. Customer service then helpfully suggested sending a cleaner after the holidays — a truly inspired solution for anyone planning to host guests. Quality control appears to be a theoretical concept, and festive deadlines clearly optional. Thank you, Sofology, for making our Christmas memorable — just not for the right reasons. One star. Avoid.

We ordered a sofa on 28th October. Initially, it was delivered on 5th December, but after coming to our home, the delivery team said that the drawing room door was too small and the sofa would not fit, so they took it back with them.Later that same day, we went to the shop, where we were told that delivery was not possible. They only gave us a customer service number, which was very disappointing. We had a family function on the 7th, but even then we did not argue or complain.Again, on the 15th, they informed us that they would send the sofa again. The staff is extremely unprofessional. On top of that, the delivery team said that their vehicle does not even come to our road, which is unacceptable.Overall, this has been a very bad experience. Due to the poor service, lack of coordination, and unprofessional behavior, we will not recommend this shop to anyone.

£6,000+ spent on sofas, delivery booked for 13 December, and Sofology sent the delivery to our old address instead of the one we confirmed. We were told this is a known Sofology system issue for returning customers. Delivery cancelled on the day and rebooking may not be until next week or later. We had already got rid of our old sofa ready for delivery, so we now have no seating at all and may be without a sofa over Christmas — entirely due to Sofology’s error. Customer service acknowledged the mistake but said there was nothing more they could do. Very poor experience for a “premium” retailer.

My parents paid in full for their sofa's in August was promised delivery in October which never happened!! Then the 4th of November then the 16th then the 28th still nothing!!! This is absolutely disgusting the way customers are treated !!!!

I would give no stars if I could . Brand new sofa turned up with an ink stain in the middle of armchair cushion and scratches and scuff marks on material on several other pieces . Then had to wait 12 weeks for new pieces to be made and ended up with some missing and some I didn’t need!!! Sent the technician to get scratch marks out of the material on footstall for him to totally ruin the material by using a steamer and leaving it covered in watermarks, so yet another 12 weeks to wait for a replacement cover which has been fitted to a very poor standard and yet again he used a steamer to get the creases out ( which I told him not too ) but he insisted it would be fine and yep yet again left with water marks !! Customer service guy said marks aren’t that bad in photo so sending technician again to sort it and tidy up the unsightly mess he’s made around the hinges . Ordered sofa in January, delivered April and still not sorted to a decent standard , if it’s not sorted to a satisfactory standard this time then will be contacting furniture ombudsman. Will never ever buy from Sofology again.

Delivery nearly 3 months late. Damaged goods on arrival with the promise of a call within 48 hours to fix followed by gauntlet of trying to get through to their customer team waiting on endless queues

the revues I have just been reeding are six years old, my up to date one, 11/11/2025. is that I paid in full for a sofa and love seat, it was supposed to be delivered 11 weeks or earlier, that was the 19 of August, I am still waiting, its now November the 11th not had any news of delivery

I bought a suite from Sofology last year and it has been in my house for less than a year. We have no pets or children, we have only used as a normal sofa would be neither of us are overweight and generally are the only people to sit on it. The sofa is sagging in a couple of places we complained to Sofology, who thought from the pictures it was damaged (it’s not). They agreed to send an engineer out who told me to my face that he would recommend the service team to replace the foam filling in the affected seat. However after chasing up today as they had not come back to me, they said the engineer had put in his report that been sat or slept on in the wrong place ! and that if we are not happy we will have to pay for an independent report to be done ! Their guarantee means nothing upon researching this is a common issue and the out come is the same every time, please be warned do not buy from this retailer as you will only regret this later. This happened a while ago bought in full two leather recliners that took forever to arrive. But my complaint is DO NOT let them talk you into the insurance policy as I did and of course when something went wrong with one of the headrests after 4 weeks they would not replace stating it was to do with body fluids from my husband's bald head and I've been left with a horrible sight where they scraped the leather to do so call tests on it and made it 100% worse and madden's me terribly every time I look at it. So be aware the insurances sem to be a total waste of your money.

Promised a sofa in 14 weeks. They chased me for the balance, I paid, still no sofa. The “great reviews” look like pure scams. I’ll be filing a complaint. If I’d known I’d wait this long, I’d never have ordered. Can’t cancel, they’ve got my money, and customer service just pushes the date back by a few days every time I call. Ridiculous. Avoid at all costs. I’ll get my money back after reporting this as a scam on Trustpilot and with the authorities.

How did this is this advert get passed advertising standards by being used to show the trivial use of animals to match with furniture. What happens when people change colours, no wonder there are so many unwanted pets!!!!!

I’d give this no stars if possible. Absolutely HATE the ad. WilL NEVER buy from Sofology. It trivialises pet ownership and gives entirely the wrong message. Pets should never be bought as accessories. Pets should be chosen with their own care and welfare at the centre of the decision making. Animal charities will be horrified at the irresponsible message this advert conveys.

Absolutely disgusted by your portrayal of a woman buying a guineapig using a colour match swatch so it compliments her sofa! What were you thinking? I also complained to the ASA and they have had dozens of complaints from animal welfare charities who are concerned about the irresponsible portrayal of animals.

I'd give you no stars if I could - what are you doing in your latest advertisement showing a woman purchasing a guinea pig to match her new sofa? Animals are not ornaments or decor items. Shame on you. The ASA won't do anything, they've had 114 complaints up to now.

they have to be one of the worst… they have to be one of the worst companies ive dealt with having delivered my order wrong to now 18m later issues with the padding in the arm and saying its fair wear and tear they are a joke and i will be taking them to court be very very careful when spending thousands of pound are product's that don't last

Avoid at all cost terrible customer service only had our new corner recliner 3 months and cushioning sagging got told off technician this is normal and you have to plump up each time you sit on it 🤔🤔🤔what a load of rubbish worst 3500 iv spent would not recommend wasting your hard earned money 😡😡😡😡😡

We were really disappointed with our experience purchasing one of Sofology’s most expensive and popular sofas. As first-time homeowners, we were excited to receive it, but what should have been a special moment turned into a frustrating and disheartening one. When the sofa was delivered, we discovered several issues: • The main seat cushion sagged noticeably, suggesting poor filling. • The decorative cushions arrived visibly dirty. • The base of the sofa was stained, which was shocking for a brand-new product. • Most upsetting of all, the delivery team caused damage to our brand-new carpet, which had only been professionally fitted ten days earlier. Despite this, Sofology is now offering just £150 towards cleaning — even though the carpet doesn’t need cleaning, it’s been physically damaged. Both the technician and delivery team confirmed it is a scratch, not a mark or stain that can be lifted. This whole experience has been extremely disappointing. After spending a significant amount on a premium product, we expected far better quality and customer care. Unfortunately, we’ve been left with a damaged carpet, a substandard sofa, and an offer that doesn’t reflect the seriousness of the situation. I hope Sofology reconsiders how it handles damage caused during delivery — especially when customers are investing so much in their products.
