“They sent the wrong item and several weeks after they received the exchange (according to USPS), there has been no replacement, no response to emails, no callback from phone messages, and not even a notice that they received to item returned due to their error for an exchange. No, this is not good service.”

“Well, first, this is a gift and I have no idea if you’re going to deliver it to the recipient or to me. Couldn’t find a place to review order. Also, I wanted to put it on my Visa card and was forced into PayPal, so had to have someone else to put it on their PayPal because I don’t have one.”

“I have Reynauds and purchased two sets of mittens. Neither kept my hands warm at all. I’ve written sweater chalet at least twice regarding the issue and have never received a response. Bad product and bad service.”

“I measured my hands according to their diagram, but the mittens I ordered are WAY too small. They are also itchy. After shipping and handling, this was a $77 purchase. I find it really annoying to have to return them. Not sure I trust them at this point to deliver the right product...”

“very bad, so bad that I didn’t continue shopping even though I really liked the product and it was a good discount for blanketI took a wrong size of hat. I sent a hat refund letter three or four times and each time I wasted time on it but I never learned the refund sticker.”

“I bought 5 pairs of the item specified below, approximately 3 months ago. I have never worn them with shoes, or outside - they have only been worn inside as “house socks.” They have been washed according to directions. 4 of the 5 pairs developed massive holes in them, to the point that they are no longer wearable and had to be recycled. I’m sure the 5th pair is well on its way to the same fate. I understand that 100% wool doesn’t wear the same as synthetics, but this is absurd, especially for a pair of socks that costs $35. “The mittens were as expected. Very nice. My problem started when I followed the sizing chart and ordered medium mittens like the size chart suggested. When the mitts arrived they were too big and I tried to contact the Sweater Chalet. I called and left a message as directed and nobody got back to me. I went online and filled out the information to have a pre-addressed return package sent to me and that never arrived either. While I was waiting the return window expired so now I am stuck with mittens that are too big after buying a second pair that was the right size.”

“My review is not for Sweater Chalet but for the öjbro vantfabrik Fager Iris 100% Merino Wool Mittens that I purchase. I had high hopes for these mittens with the reviews from the Reynaud's Association website and Sweater Chalet. While the mittens are pretty and seem well constructed they DO NOT do the job. It says they have "the patented 3 layer polymide inside creates the Öjbro 3 V-Swedish: ”Varning: Varma Vantar” ===== "Warning: Warm Mittens." Well, I live in CT, not the North Pole and the wind goes right through the mittens and they DO NOT keep my hands warm at all. My suede Ugg Mittens do a better job. I was very excited about the prospect of having warms hands but these mittens are a failure for me and especially for the exorbitant cost. I was willing to pay the price for the warmth, but no such luck. Also, it was nearly impossible to separate the two mittens. My husband and I needed a magnifying glass and a pair of small nail scissors to find and cut the thread holding them together without accidentally cutting the mitten -- and I don't wear glasses for reading! I have no complaints with The Sweater Chalet. My mittens arrived in a timely manner and were nicely packaged with a small gift. Debating about whether to return my mittens.”
