“I got a Swytch kit for my Brompton, and have been very pleased with it. Use it mainly for a 5 mile commute, including one large hill. The kit works extremely well - it is a 3 gear Brompton, and the hill would be a challenge with the Swytch. With it, I can do it easily. One small drawback is that the plastic sensor fittings are quite thin and easily damaged, so that after a few years mine is kept in place with sellotape (!). But Swytch have kindly offered to replace it for free, so no problems there.”

“Having fitted the Swytch kit 3 months ago I can highly recommend it. It has encouraged me to use my bike when I wouldn't have considered it previously. The larger battery seems to to be ideal for my use. The installation was easy having watched a couple of YouTube videos showing the process. The videos highlight some of the optional installation items that are in the manual, but as I usually find watching is easier than reading :) Build quality of the components seems good and the connectors seal well against our lovely weather. Overall, I am very pleased with my upgraded bike, I just need to order another one so my wife doesn't get left behind when out riding.”

“CUSTOMER SERVICE UP THERE WITH THE WORST I can't comment on the kit as I had issues with their very poor customer services after paying my deposit. I ended up asking for my £200 to be refunded as I couldn't find a way to call them and my request for a 'callback' was denied as the on-line form keep refusing to accept my order number [invalid]. I have resorted to a poor review in order to try to get some attention from Swytch. My comment of the very poor service was swiftly removed from their facebook page . Its a pity because I was really looking forward to trying this product. The advertising 'blurb' says they will refund at any point in the order process. Well I am early into a prospective purchase and I don't appear to be registering on their Radar at all. Very poor , not worth any stars at all. Swytch keep removing my comment from their Facebook page as soon as I post.”

“Be honest, Swytch is the best Ebike kit of the world! It so easy to install! So comapct and so suitable my brompton! It can ride more than 40Km by one ECO battery...So amazing! I am so appericate this kit can give me excellence experience of riding on brompton!”

“Waiting 6 months to be told on the due date they could not supply the order due to shipping issues… had ordered extended range batter and asked accep one capable of 15km! To buy a second back up to meet the original range was an additional 200 pounds! Offer of refund accepted… who needs an electric bike with a 10 mile range! Cannot recommend .”

“This kit is awesome. Instructions were clear and easy to follow, I had it installed in 30 minutes. I got this kit for my special needs sons bike. He is not to good at using hand brakes so I needed to maintain a coaster brake capability for him. This kit provided that at price significantly less then regular e-bike. I had researched several other modification kits out there . Several at first were cheaper but not everything was included. The Swytch kit came complete. I would recommend either getting 2 batteries or the bigger one. Our Son is getting so much more use out his bike now.”

“Now I have used my swytch kit for about two weeks. I am very happy with it, because of the simple installation and the very light battery pack. The motor is powerful and i don´t want to ride without it anymore. There are similar products on the market, but the swytch kit is very good quality and for me absolut worth the money. So I can use my bike for longer rides to work.”

“I ordered my Swytch kit April of 2022 and still have not received the battery charging cord that was missing from my kit upon delivery. After several requests I still have no cord. I am so disappointed. I spent all this money and have a kit that is not functional!”

“The Swytch kit enabled me keep my hand built road bike long after the hills became just too steep to enjoy. Cabling and connections are sturdy and, twelve months down the line, the motor and battery are still performing as intended. With a similar bike consisting upwards of £3k now, the pedal assist system has proved the best of both worlds: a comfortable ride without the fear of hills.”

“The Swytch kit for the Brompton made it easy to convert the perfect foldable bike to electrify it. The pedal assist and optional throttle make commuting a pleasure, especially in the challenging hilly terrain of Pittsburgh, PA which is where I am from. I also had to reach out for support for a lost battery charger, and they were responsive and offered to ship me a complimentary (free!) one, which was a great gesture on their part.”

I bought it to convert my Trek Lync3 commuter bike into an ebike, making my commuter easier and safier. The installation was fairly simple and I have been very pleased by how smooth and silent the electric motor in the wheel is. One big plus with this conversion kit is how light it is - 17.5kg with the battery, which beats most of the ebike on the market for a much more moderate price - and the ability to ride without the battery and assist if needed. The brushless motor adds a little resistance if you ride without battery or with the motor off, but not really requiring more effort than before. The display is fairly simple and very clear, and easily control all setting (wheel diameter, max speed). I have not tested the full autonomy of the battery yet, my rides have only been”
