“This is my third conversion and very pleased with this new battery shape and positioning (Go). The bike is steadier and now remains standing with the battery attached. Maximum speed is regulated at 25kph which is disappointing if you want to go off road. Excess cable ends need capping off if the caps exist? All in all though great value for money and I would recommend Swytch to anyone.”

“Ordered a Swytch Go with the middle-sized battery pack. Delivery should have been June, but it was a month late. The kit was fairly easy to install. Only 5 rides with it so far, but it is easily giving 20+ miles, moslty on 1 or 2 out of the 5 power levels, and the battery still shows 2-3 bars out of 5. I'm quite a fit rider so I do notice the drag when trying to get past the top speed. It would be nice if there was a clutch to help remove this. I suspect in reality the battery will probably give the quoted 30 miles range, but I'm sure the last 2-3 bars will drop off at a faster rate. The wheel seems well-made, but I wouldn't want to use it on anything more off-road than a gravel path. It would have been nice to have the option of a black rim/spokes, and I would have paid an extra £20 for such an option. I hope the kit will give me 2 years service (2-4 20mile rides a week). If it lasts less than that, then I'll try a full e-bike next time.”

“After a 7 month wait I was delighted with the simple and effective functioning of the converted bike. I'm still trying to determine the exact range of a charge so the jury is still out on that. 29 km after full charge the indicator is down from 5 to 2 bars.”

“Very happy that you came up with a unit that has adaptability to many add ons that one may wish to add on at any later date. My thumb throttle adapter was easy to install and just had to plug it to its color matched adapter plug inns.”

“I very much enjoy the Swytch adjustment to my bike. I love to bike by myself or with members of my family. It was getting difficult for me to keep up with others especially on hills. Swytch has allowed me to continue these rides. Recently, I added a new control panel which lets me keep track of my speed and mileage. Very happy 😃”

“Despite the fact that I had to return the kit because it is not compatible with my trek bike, I received very good service. we exchanged several emails to try to resolve the problem This is why I can't give it a 5 star rating”

“I like the idea of swytch but the customer proposition and interface is extremely poor. It’s if it is continuous in start up mode - purchased a extra charger bank - hundreds of pounds came with no charging plug transformer just plain annoying”

“Paid over £600 for the conversion kit and used it occasionally, maybe charging the battery 4 times. Battery is now dead according to Swytch and only has a 3 year lifespan. It worked ok when I used it but the lack of support and short lifespan is scary 😟”

“I really enjoyed riding my bike in ways I couldn't before converting it to pedal-assist with a Swytch kit. Climbing enormous hills with ease is truly an incredible experience. That said, the wait was long and I had it only a short time before selling it because I can't take it with me (moving from Hawaii to Europe, and the lithium ion battery pack is very expensive to transport legally). I'll look forward to buying another kit one day.”

“Hello I am quite happy with the two kits installed on two Merida Inner City folding bikes. Installation was easy and performance as expected. I think the weakest point is the pedal sensor, which needs to be checked regularly and I expect will need replacement some time in the future. I am still very suprised that you are not able to deliver to Norway. My delivery was possible due to logistic accident and as soon as you realize that goods can be transported from UK to Norway by other means than by plane, you can serve 5 mill people with your products. People ask me where to buy and I have to tell it is not possible from Norway.”

“Not too difficult to make the conversion ... although the supplied instructions didn't describe the exact equipment supplied and I had to contact Swytch get a link to some ?hidden YouTube videos to show how I should fix one part. Also, the pedal sensor didn't really fit my bike and quickly broke, but Swytch provided an alternative at no cost and it's now all good.”

“I am very happy with my Swytch GO+ kit. Delivered on time and fairly straightforward to fit. Not too heavy so the bike is easily rideable with or without power. Motor is surprisingly powerful and the boost feels great, even at a low setting. Minor criticisms are the pedal sensor which is fiddly to set up and needs adjustment at times. Also there's too much cable for my bike set up. Some options for shorter cabling / customisation would be welcome. Otherwise I'm very happy and impressed.”

“Customer service could be better: queries were eventually resolved but the response time was slow, and there is no phone number so the only method of contact is online via the website. After paying for my order, I had to wait several months for delivery, and the order tracking information on the website is ambiguous to say the least. Payment should not be taken until orders are ready for dispatch.”
