Let me help lower the risk of something going wrong during your Bali holiday. After years of passing on insider tips to family and friends, I'm sharing my local knowledge about money, transport, attractions and day tours.

Transfers from Bali Airport to your hotel or villa are easy if you book ahead. Remove the stress from arriving at Bali Airport and book a private car and driver to personally meet you and get you to your accommodations quickly and easily. Be met on arrival by one of my personally vetted, English-speaking drivers and receive comprehensive, detailed instructions on navigating the airport and making contact with your personal driver straight after booking.

Our day tours get rave reviews because my network of local drivers is second to none. I have personally vetted all the drivers I work with. They text me when they pick you up and again when you have been dropped off at the end of the day. I also email your driver’s name, profile photo, vehicle photo and phone number beforehand to ensure your safety and provide confidence. They are all incredibly knowledgeable and make amazing guides for your day tours around Bali.

“It was fantastic. Gede brought us everywhere we wanted to and told us everything about the island and culture. He is also very flexible, a big plus! Thank you Gede, it was a day to remember.”

“Kudos to Michael for facilitating the itinerary via his website at short notice. Payment was seamless online & he shared a snap of the driver Dede (Di Day) & the car. The rates were reasonable & competitive & the flexible itinerary is what attracted us the most. We were able to customise based on our desire to do 4 temples + rice terrace view at Tellanghan as part of Temple tour. It was full day but worth every moment. DDay arrived & Dede was punctual at the hotel lobby, well before the start. It's admirable as his house is nearly 3 hrs away & it was raining very heavily with inclement weather. He has a clean car, powerful aircon, umbrellas, water but most importantly a smiling & cheerful demeanor. We ended up doing Tanah Lot first as it was raining very heavily in Ubud. Though we missed a sunset pic, we got very nice pics thanks to Dede cheerfully suggesting & helping us with pics. We are vegetarian & Dede kindly drove us to a peaceful resto overlooking the rice terrace for great views & a decent meal. We visited Tirtha Empul, Gunung Kawi & ended with Goa Gajah. He didn't hardsell anything & offered to drive us to Monkey Forest which unfortunately shut at 17.00 hrs. He was more than willing to show us more but due to exhaustion, inclement weather and traffic, we opted to head back after a 10hrs trip. He is a cautious driver, very helpful, decent communication & a good photographer. I was under the weather else we would have approached Michael for some more Temple tours like Uluwatu and / or Mother temple. Lots of options on the Bali Holiday Secrets website! More power to u!!! Cheers!”

“Michael was very helpful organising a car for us at the last minute. The driver was pleasant, he knew the area booked. The car air con was the Bali style rather than the western air con which is much colder, it was perfectly sufficient for us though and the car was fine.”

“We had an amazing two days of touring the island with our driver Komang. He was awesome! Super friendly and knowledgeable. When we got to a destination, we’d spend at least a couple of hours exploring and he would then pick us up wherever we ended up. We can’t wait to come back and stay and would definitely use this service again. Thanks Michael and Komang.”

“Such a great experience! Our driver Gidi was wonderful, with food English and so friendly which put us 5 ladies travelling alone at ease in Bali for the first time in many years. Found us an amazing place for lunch that worked with our itinerary. Bali Holiday Secrets was very supportive of the customised itinerary that we put together which was the cornerstone of our holiday. They even had a plan for if it ran over time given traffic. We did all the below amazing things in one very big but fun day with the help of our amazing Bali Holiday Secrets driver. Thanks so much!”

“Highly recommended! The whole process from booking to drop off was a breeze. We received our driver Komangs details on WhatsApp a couple days prior to our flight and a message was waiting from him when we touched down in Bali. Komang waited for us for almost 2 hours while we waited to get through immigration and sent a few messages to make sure we were doing ok during the wait! Komang’s service was outstanding and we had a great chat on the way to our hotel in Ubud. He gave us lots of tips about what to see and do in Ubud and other parts of Bali! Thanks again for the great ride!”

“Hi Michael, Our experience with BHS was fantastic. We had two full day bookings your driver, Gede, and had great experiences on both days. “The best decision I have ever made for travel overseas. Hiring a Private driver made our trip so much easier. Our drivers are all very kind and friendly.
