Let me help lower the risk of something going wrong during your Bali holiday. After years of passing on insider tips to family and friends, I'm sharing my local knowledge about money, transport, attractions and day tours.

Transfers from Bali Airport to your hotel or villa are easy if you book ahead. Remove the stress from arriving at Bali Airport and book a private car and driver to personally meet you and get you to your accommodations quickly and easily. Be met on arrival by one of my personally vetted, English-speaking drivers and receive comprehensive, detailed instructions on navigating the airport and making contact with your personal driver straight after booking.

Our day tours get rave reviews because my network of local drivers is second to none. I have personally vetted all the drivers I work with. They text me when they pick you up and again when you have been dropped off at the end of the day. I also email your driver’s name, profile photo, vehicle photo and phone number beforehand to ensure your safety and provide confidence. They are all incredibly knowledgeable and make amazing guides for your day tours around Bali.

“Seamless communication and pickup experience. We’ve used a number of different transportation services the different times we’ve been to Bali. The booking process was really easy - you get detailed instructions on where to meet the driver, and their phone number, photo and car information ahead of time. The only apprehension is not having used this service before and only finding it randomly online. Our driver Gede was really welcoming and friendly on the drive to our hotel, the car was very comfortable with A/C. We would happily book this service again!”

FYI the number of new bookings requesting Gede has exceeded his ability to be in many places at once. Not all superheroes wear capes.

“10/10 would recommend!! We had a wonderful driver Arya who was more than helpful with our bag, local recommendations and chat 😊 Our flight was delayed and it was no trouble contacting him via WhatsApp, and he was there waiting when we got in an hour and a half late. Extremely clean car, super professional interaction and also played great music 👌”

“Thanks to Michael and Bali Holiday Secrets. Having read all the reviews about Taxis in Bali, I was particularly nervous. I found Bali Holiday Secrets when trying to research Top Tourist tips. I booked through the website. I received the details of the driver and a photo of the driver and his car. I received a WhatsApp message from Reven, my driver, the day before I arrived. This gave me reassurance. On the day Reven I received another WhatsApp message telling me where he was and with a selfie. Reven was easy to find and he was waiting for me. The journey was stress free and Reven pointed out various sites/information on the way to my hotel. Really kind, courteous and welcoming. Honestly cannot recommend Bali Secrets enough. Paid on the credit card and in advance. Nothing more to pay (unless you want to tip the driver).”

“I am so glad I chose to use this company for my pick up and drop off in Bali. As a single female traveller it was good to have the safety of being picked up by someone who recognised me from the picture I had sent before I travelled. The vehicle was lovely and clean with very welcome a.c. and a complimentary bottle of water. My driver, Komang was so friendly and welcoming. On leaving Bali I was picked up by Gede who was also super friendly and arrived promptly at the pre arranged time for my trip back to the airport. I was very impressed! When I made my booking with Bali Holiday Secrets they sent me the WhatsApp details and a photo of each driver for my convenience which was very reassuring. I also was very impressed with all the information that I received on travelling to Bali with handy tips. I will absolutely use this great company again for my next trip. I paid in advance by card when I made my booking which was very convenient for me.”

“We wanted a driver for our trip, just for a few days as we traversed Bali, and Gede was awesome! He was knowledgeable and experienced. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to get around. He took us to just the right beaches including some picturesque ones and some traditional beaches. We wish we would have booked more time with him!”

“Thank you Michael for the excellent and reassuring service you provide. As a not so young solo traveller, I was impressed by the detailed information you provide about arrival in Denpasar. Upon landing I knew exactly what to expect and where to go. It was also great being able to keep your driver up to date with my progress through the terminal via wattsapp. I sent a selfie to him and it was lovely to see his happy smiley face waiting outside. Gede was such a delight and even allowed me to quickly drop into a store on the way to my resort. An excellent all-round experience and highly recommended.”

“The whole experience was marvellous! Booking and payment was very easy. Gede is a fabulous driver and guide - flexible when we needed extra time and super helpful with shepherding us around and giving us tips to make our excursion smoother, taking us to different areas and shops when we only had a vague idea of what we wanted to do. “Outstanding service!! From booking to getting instant email response with those great tips means I got out of immigration way ahead of everyone else from my flight. Had the driver's photo and he was exactly where the instructions said. Gede was super cool, stopped at convenience store for some essentials (cold beers) and got me to my hotel quickly.
