“I bought myself a pair of size 38 Idaho jodhpur boots 2 1/2 years ago, which I have used for riding, yard work and day to day wear. They've lasted really well and are so comfortable, though they were a bit tight across the foot to begin with. My husband bought a pair of Rio jodhpur boots for my birthday but I couldn't get more than my toes into the boot. Disappointing, but not unusual with wide feet. We sent returned the boots for exchange with the Idaho boots which arrived quickly. On arrival I was initially disappointed because I could just squeeze my feet in but the zips were nowhere near fastening. I was really annoyed thinking you must have changed the design but my husband pointed out your advice to remove the insole, which I did, and the boots fastened easily. I have worn the boots for one morning of yard work and already they are really comfortable. Please don't ever stop making the idaho boot or change the design as I don't know what I'd do.”

“The order process was very easy and the boots received were beautiful and looked to be of fantastic quality, but sadly had to be returned as they were not even close to being wide enough for my toe box or high enough for my instep even though I sized up.”

“Lovely looking boots but not comfortable for me (sore on ankle boney prominences) Also heavy and clumpy compared with my usual Ariats. Gave to my friend to try, with slightly larger feet, and she loved them. Nice boots coupled with friendly customer assistance, but not for me sadly.”

“Quality is great, but as ever, I could not get my feet into the boots to even try them on. I have small feet but a very wide ankle and cannot seem to get any make of boot on. As yet I've not found any full length zipped boots that fit either. I was so disappointed with these boots as they are obviously superior to any I have tried.”

“Bought for dog walking. Ordering and delivery very good. Boots fit true to size and look fab! Comfortable. Maiden outing with the hound for an hour & a half walk. Ready to take them off after only because of my heel. It takes time for my heel to harden to hardy boots. Rest of boot very comfortable and in time the whole boot will be I’m sure 😊”

“My email was responded to quickly and the response was reasonably satisfactory. I was offered a discount for a new pair to replace my old boots. Since they were also in the sale, the replacement cost was acceptable.”

“My Kentucky Storm boots are great! Good quality and very comfortable. I did need to go up a size. I still have to loosen the laces and open the zip to get them on and off but hope this will improve with wear.”

“Certainly after a few days hard wear they have moulded to my feet, and are very comfortable to wear all day.I will be interested to see how they stand life on the farm after a year or so.”

“The boots I ordered were very good quality and finished. The delivery was prompt and the return easy. Unfortunately I felt they were not right for me. I have saved Bareback site on my laptop as rare to find good quality shoes made in Europe. Will definitely keep an eye on their site!”

“The boots are great quality but unfortunately they are so tight across the instep that it took 10 minutes to put them on . That was without the insoles & removing my socks. I have reluctantly sent them back for a refund.”

“I like the style and the quality is good, buy feel they are a little big. I normally wear a 6.5/40 and bought a 7. I’m hoping I can wear a thicker sock with them in the winter to stop my feet moving around in them so much.”

“these boots are well made and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again, my only criticism is the side stretch panels are too tight and have remained extremely tight after 4 days of wear making them a real struggle to pull on and take off.”
