“Beautiful boots, love the colour and design. Boot fit true to size. I’m only 5ft 2”. & I’ve needed to insert heel risers as the back of the boot is quite tall and was across back of knee. So if you’re a shorty worth thinking about.”

“Very easy to order, quality of boots are great & delivery was on time I have very narrow feet & slim leg so not easy to fit but in winter its no problem especially if fleece lined or thick socks. Most importantly as long as looked after they remain waterproof as being on & farm & with horses out in all weather it is critical”

“I don't ride horses, I bought these for motorcycle riding after giving up on finding good quality waterproof motorbike boots. I'm over the moon with the quality and colour of the Bareback riding boots. They are comfortable, warm and very good quality it's just a shame they don't have the additional leather strip for the gear shifter but they clean up well after riding.”

“I was so excited about receiving my new walking boots ..The packaging was very good and look really nice and speacial. The boots look lovely and are very comfortable. The reason I'm giving a 4 star is that they are really hard to get on , around the ankle area ( hopefully they will give a little to allow for ab easier fit) , once on they are amazing..”

“I ruminated on which long riding boots to but when my trusty old pair of mountain horse ll died. Initially when these brown ones arrived I was a bit concerned the legs were too slim. Perfect foot fit. I wore them for my first ride, dropped my stirrups so as not to pinch behind my knees and was really surprised they were absolutely fine no pain, discomfort, nothing. The only thing missing is some sort of boot tree, for £250 an inflatable boot tree or plastic one wouldn't go a miss”

“I have the Montana Boots they are gorgeous well made boots however they are very tight on the calf I am petit 9 stone , so assumed standard would fit . I struggle to get the zip up. I wore them fir dog walk and got blisters . I'm hoping they will give over time.”

“I really love them but boy they are hard to get on and off! I've never been a quitter so putting them on every day . The size is right plenty of toe room they just need to soften a bit . My husband kill's himself laughing at me hopping round the kitchen while I'm putting them on and grunting when getting them off . I'm sure they'll be worth the effort.”

“I absolutely love the colour! The style! I got a size 7 as I am usually between a 6-7. They are quite snug but slowly wearing in, but unfortunately I think may have given me blisters on the back of my heels. They are extremely comfortable and I love the fact I can now walk through puddles knowing I'm going to have dry feet! I'm looking forward to breaking them in completely - its only been a week and used for dog walking, and all being well I shall be buying more pairs!”

“Overall I am very pleased with my Black Quebec Waterproof Boots (https://www.barebackfootwear.com/products/quebec-waterproof-boots-black) Definitely waterproof, well tested this last week in the South West of England and Wales. I also took a punt on the size having thoroughly read the sizing info. I am a size 5 but usually buy size 5.5 or 6. As described the sizing is generous so they are comfortable, and easy to get on and off. HOWEVER, as I tend towards more natural footwear in terms of shape, my only quibble and feedback for the designers is to make the area for the widest part of the foot, a little more generous with a more square and less pointed toe area.”

“Very nice boots and I'm thrilled with the quality. They are comfortable once they are on but they are a little harder to get on than I anticipated. However, that may just be because they need to mould to me more. Overall, I am really pleased.”

“I loved these boots and was so disappointed that they did not fit. The width is so narrow that I couldn’t even get my foot in, please make wider boots as I love your style. My feet are not that wide!”
