Maestro isn't just an online learning platform; it's a portal to the minds of absolute titans! Forget dry lectures and dusty textbooks - here, legends like Brian Cox unveil the secrets of acting alchemy, Gary Barlow dissects the anatomy of a hit song, and Billy Connolly unlocks the treasure chest of comedy. Think Hogwarts for adults, with world-renowned experts as your eccentric, passionate professors. Each course is a masterclass in itself, meticulously crafted to ignite your inner spark, whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned enthusiast. The 4K visuals are so stunning, that you practically feel the heat from Marco Pierre White's oven or the thrill of Edgar Wright's storyboard. And the cherry on top? Downloadable course notes, packed with tips, tricks, and insights, ensure your learning extends far beyond the screen. Maestro isn't just about acquiring skills; it's about igniting passions. It's a shot of creative adrenaline, a backstage pass to the workshops of genius. So, ditch the self-help gurus and join the ranks of the Maestro-trained. Who knows, you might just find your own inner maestro waiting to be unleashed!

I bought a course from the platform that I found interesting. It indeed was very useful and it was worth it. But there are a couple of things that would make BBC Maestro an even better experience: -Consider including subtitles from other languages, at least those that are more spoken like Spanish and French. My English is good enough for the course, but I had to doble check the meaning of some words from time to time. Having subtitles in other languages available would make the platform more accessible to other regions. -The price might be a bit high. I was lucky enough to buy the course during the new years offer, and the deal was good, so I paid a reasonable prize. But the general pricing without any offers applied is a bit expensive in my opinion. These are my suggestions. Thank you.

Where else can you spend hours cooking curry with a Michelin-starred Indian chef, baking bread with Richard Bertinet or polishing up your vegetarian cooking with Marco Pierre White? Once the dishes are done I will switch to Rankin and then photograph them. There is a good range of courses here and as you would expect the production and sound are impeccable. It is really good value and will only get better.

I had the Writing Love Stories by Jojo Moyes as a Christmas present. Although it’s not interactive the lectures and back up notes are so useful. I had become completely stuck with my novel idea but this course has given me new impetus to revisit and complete it.

I loved it. Read James Nestor’s book and in this course he gave much more detailed info. As a yoga teacher I also appreciate his inclusion of yoga and other ancient breathing practices.

Rankin is a world-class photographer, and he passes on his knowledge in an easy to understand manner. My investment in his workshop is very well worth the money.

I never, in this day and age, seen such a bad player like the BBC mastro. This is not a cheap product, yet the player is horrible… there is no app, you cannot stream in a tv, only using a stupid internet browser. Come on, BBC! You can do muuuch better! The catalog is also very poor. I loved the Alan Moore course, but there seemed to have nothing more. If you want a good course catalog with famous people, I recommend Masterclass. If you want business courses, I recommend LinkedIn. If you want to learn for free from well renowned universities, Cursera and EDx… or from people like me and you, Udemy… but run away from BBC Maestro until they have a decent catalog and the minimum functional Player.

the two I've done - Jancis Robinson's Wine course and Peter Jones' toolkit for entrepreneurs - have been exemplary - clear, full of content, full of insights, and delivered with style and engagement.

I don't know, my course of Jonathan Yeo's portrait painting doesn't start until the end of January so I am in no position to give a review

The variety of courses means there is something for everyone. The quality of the courses is second to none with incredibly talented people in their fields presenting what they have learned over time. The videos are great for those of us who are auditory learners and the pdfs are great to reinforce the lessons, to look back on and to make notes on. I especially enjoy the courses that have actions to take after a lesson so you get a chance to apply what has been taught in the lesson. If you are wanting to learn something new or to deepen your knowledge of something you love, I would highly recommend you purchase a course. Alternatively, subscribe for a year and dip into any of the courses on offer. Unbeatable value.

Haven't really got into my course yet due to xmas. But, what I have read so far sounds easy to follow, and I can't wait till I can get more into it. I love the notes section and nice that I can go back and read it when I need help. Diffentley will try another cooking course but not to many to choose from for my liking. Wish mine would have more recipes.

I've been writing in the last few years of my 33 years in a cult. Only recently have I attempted fiction and discovered Harlan Coben who I've been reading and enjoying for many years. His lessons have been so valuable and have not only helped me continue my work of fiction but complete my other non-fiction work.
