“I had great customer service from Brooke who I missed a call from to actually book our holiday to the maldives. When I called back another agent said Brooke was not available and she could deal with our booking. But before actually paying for the holiday I mentioned an email I had received saying the holiday had been reduced for subscribers by £50pp. Unfortunately, despite paying an extra £300 for better flight times, Kelsey said that discount did not apply. Why? The answer was its only for certain flights and ours was not one of those flights. So for the sake of £100 they not only lost a £3504 holiday booking but their reputation and a complaint to trading standards over their unclear advertising and lack of clarity even in the small print. Would not recommend them at all. Untrustworthy in my opinion.”
“£4,500 holiday to Cancun. No pick up at the airport, we were told that our coach had left and there wouldn't be a replacement after a ten hour flight to Cancun, we then took a rip off taxi to our hotel, 1,700 peso = £90 for a 25min transfer. We then had no notification of being picked up at all from Blue Bay, even after trying to contact them. Therefore, we had to pay for another taxi to get back to the airport, at least this was half the price! In all my years of travelling I haven't ever come across a travel company that were this bad at organisation.”

During that time, the service we have personally received has been second to none. As a result of our commitment to the company, we are part of the exclusive Chairman’s Club where we receive amazing offers, gifts but most of all, access to a dedicated team of staff who, over the years, we have become to class as friends.
Communication has always been fantastic, even throughout the disruption caused by Covid, queries are responded to and answered efficiently and effectively. We were grateful to be fully supported 100% during a recent last minute cancellation and insurance claim, thankfully making it a seamless process. In my opinion, they are a company who cares.
Over the years, their catalogue of holidays has expanded and offers trips to many long and medium haul destinations with varying prices and offers to suit everyone and being fully ABTA /ATOL protected is a bonus. They have also been able to put together packages for hotels that no longer advertise to other UK agents and will price match wherever possible.

Had to sort it out ourselves and lost 3 days in the swim up room we should have had. No apology no compensation no anything from blue bay. Has really put us off using them again and are thinking of cancelling our Nov booking with them”

“Bluebay were brilliant when they started out but as they’ve grown bigger the personalised service has diminished. Initially they would search for the best deal for you, now they have become the same as the rest. For example I asked for a quote regarding a particular holiday, advertised by Bluebay and asked if that was the best price they could do. They replied they couldn’t get it any cheaper. I then requested a quote from the original holiday company who quoted the same holiday exactly for 10% less than Bluebay. When Bluebay did their follow up call 2 days later I told them the quote I had accepted and they had the audacity to state if I had informed them Bluebay would have beaten the quote given. Too late was the cry…. they are not the best anymore I’m afraid”
