“The air fryer was purchased directly through their webshop. Works fine, but now, less than 2 years old, the pan is starting to rust and turn brown inside and out. Customer service is unfriendly and immediately reports that there is no warranty, and that this is my fault because I would have washed with abrasive. Of course not, this pan has a Teflon coating and is only washed by hand. Spare parts are not for sale. In short, lousy customer service and bad policy.”
“At the risk of "piling on" to an abundance of bad reviews, I have had the same experience. I purchased 6 coffee mugs; one arrived smashed - likely by the carrier. I reported the problem to Bodum via their online portal (they do NOT provide any way to contact them by phone). And I sent photos. Other than to acknowledge receipt of my complaint, Bodum has ghosted me. I have had no response, no resolution. Obviously, customer service is their least important business front. I will not by buying from Bodum ever again - nor will I likely ever buy another of their products. So, BUYER BEWARE.”

I sent e-mails, left many messages at one 800 number, called another 800 number on their "how to complete a return website" and only received recordings saying either they wouldn't accept calls from my calling area or recordings promoting Medicare Advantage programs. Without any response from them other than "we'll get back to you", I have given up. Their customer service is non-existent. Don't order from them. If you must, purchase Bodum products through a third party provider - perhaps this is their customer service goal - satisfying their customers is not their customer service goal.”

“I used to buy regularly from Bodum and was generally happy with the quality-to-price ratio. I even defended them when other people I recommended the brand started getting some less-than-great items.
Then in mid-November, I ordered a Christmas gift from my SO, the package was lost in transit and the courier told me to tell Bodum to send another package since the item for them was lost. I told Bodum and they first replied almost instantly saying they were "investigating". That was the end of November, and since then I told them to send me another order, and opened another ticket. Never got another reply.
I won't be ordering from them ever again.”

Here's the story...
Canada Post recently gone on strike and most other companies I've ordered from have been using other companies to ship their items.
I ordered an item from Bodum and received an email that my order was being prepared. Almost a week later, the item hadn't been shipped so I contacted them. They said they were holding items until the strike is over, which is indefinitely. I responded and asked why they weren't using another company in the meantime for shipping or at the very least, sending emails to their customers telling them that they are holding their items after purchase. They did not respond.
The next day, I received a notification that my item was shipped to Canada Post (from the US). So now, it's going to sit there with the other items for who knows how long.
This was a low blow move. Instead, acknowledge your customers and validate their concerns. All I was asking for was that you take a few minutes to send an email to your customers to let them know that you won't be sending their items....”
