Ordered almost month ago and my order was never shipped due to Canada Post strike. My refund request was declined and since the zero response to my email.
Absolute nightmare!”
“They sent me out a product which appears totally different to the image online. When I asked for a free return (since it is not my fault that I have to return it) they didn’t respond. I sent 3 further emails and heard nothing back. Very poor customer service!”

Here's the story...
Canada Post recently gone on strike and most other companies I've ordered from have been using other companies to ship their items.
I ordered an item from Bodum and received an email that my order was being prepared. Almost a week later, the item hadn't been shipped so I contacted them. They said they were holding items until the strike is over, which is indefinitely. I responded and asked why they weren't using another company in the meantime for shipping or at the very least, sending emails to their customers telling them that they are holding their items after purchase. They did not respond.
The next day, I received a notification that my item was shipped to Canada Post (from the US). So now, it's going to sit there with the other items for who knows how long.
This was a low blow move. Instead, acknowledge your customers and validate their concerns. All I was asking for was that you take a few minutes to send an email to your customers to let them know that you won't be sending their items....”
“Bodum sold me a defective Bodum Bistro Coffee Grinder and they refused to let me return it or credit my account. They charged my credit card for trash. Very dishonest.”

“We bought a Bodum Bistro burr coffee grinder (model 10903) some years ago. All was great until a couple of years ago when the outer rubberized material on the machine's body and the lid started to get quite tacky/sticky. The grinder works fine otherwise. The "stickiness" problem started at least two years ago, but it seems to only be getting worse with time. The rubberized material appears to be degrading/disintegrating (oxidation?). The grinder is not stored in a warm environment. We have tried cleaning the outside with mild soap and warm water on a few occasions, but that hasn't solved our problem. Contacted Bodum customer service a week a go looking for suggestions on how to mitigate or fix this problem ... no response.”

both dont stop boiling , dont turn off , both when pouring spill boiling water everywhere - HAD to place in the bin for safely
Bodum has not customer service and take months to reply to emails and just dont care

I ordered 2 items and only received one.
I write every week to ask for a refund for the missing item, but no one replies. Strange, because customer service answered me a few days later when I had a question about the order I was about to place.
I won't be buying from them again.”

“Order a joy granola cup which wouldn’t open at all and you could see powdery plastic when you try to open it. The day I received the item I try contacting the customer service through the website, email tried calling the number provided online. No one ever got back to me. That’s from the 4th of January till today”
“I purchased a burr coffee grinder in April It constantly got jammed. By October, it died. I am trying to get a return or refund from the company but they keep sending automated emails that make it difficult to respond how they want. I spent $40 and probably will have to take a loss.
I do not recommend their products or customer service.”
