“I purchased a Bodum coffee pour from a retailer. When I got home I realized I was missing a small piece (the lid for the pot once the coffee filter was removed). This lid is not shown anywhere on the product packaging, except for in the “instructions”. I contacted the retailer, who looked at the only other Bodum pot in their stock and advised that that pot also did not have the lid. I wrote to Bodum customer service and asked for a replacement part (likely pennies to the company). I also offered to buy the missing part. The company response was to NOT read my request and refuse all assistance. Referred me back to the retailer. I did also send proof of purchase with the request. For a small plastic part that costs the company nothing. I have gotten better customer service from literally every other retailer that I have dealt with. EVERY retailer I have dealt with has offered to help and support. Bodum does not stand behind its products or it’s manufacturing (despite its stated policies). I will NEVER buy from Bodum again. Cheap company with no ethics. I feel totally disrespected by the blasé attitude that showed the representative didn’t even read my inquiry. Just went straight to “no”. No wonder Amazon is wiping companies like Bodum off the planet. They offer to help customers.”

“My Bodum travel mug which was made of sturdy plastic was absolutely useless after one year. There are cracks everywhere on the mug, and liquid is getting in between the two layers. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I contacted Bodum customer care and they told me that they dont deal with such request.”
“Terrible customer service. Email after Email trying to return an item which has taken over a week and still no progress made. Each email sent comes with a 2/3 day wait for a response. The return process is confusing and stressful, as well as the cost to return the item. Overall disappointing, would not recommend buying more than one item at a time in case you are unsatisfied.”
“Terrible website. Reached out a month ago on a return as a I checked out directly without PayPal (mistake !). Because I didn’t create an account, there was no information in the invoice/emails nor on the website for me to file for a return. Reached out to them over a month ago via email but no one ever got back to me. Reached out through other channels which someone said they will get back to me but never did! The glasses I ordered were of awful quality with scratches on the cups and looked so cheap. Never will order from the company again!!!!!”
“There is absolutely no customer service here they ignore all service tickets and emails sent to them. There is no Canadian phone number to call so you have no way of contacting the company if you have any questions or problems. I do a lot of online ordering so they have lost a good customer.”
