“For several months, we’ve tried to get answers from BODUM’s service center as interior architects, but they keep directing us to their website, which doesn’t address our specific professional questions. Despite our requests for a direct conversation, they haven’t called us. This lack of responsive, professional service is disappointing, and we can’t recommend BODUM to other professionals or clients.”
“We bought a Bodum Bistro burr coffee grinder (model 10903) some years ago. All was great until a couple of years ago when the outer rubberized material on the machine's body and the lid started to get quite tacky/sticky. The grinder works fine otherwise. The "stickiness" problem started at least two years ago, but it seems to only be getting worse with time. The rubberized material appears to be degrading/disintegrating (oxidation?). The grinder is not stored in a warm environment. We have tried cleaning the outside with mild soap and warm water on a few occasions, but that hasn't solved our problem. Contacted Bodum customer service a week a go looking for suggestions on how to mitigate or fix this problem ... no response.”

The day I received the item I try contacting the customer service through the website, email tried calling the number provided online. No one ever got back to me. That’s from the 4th of January till today”
“I purchased a burr coffee grinder in April It constantly got jammed. By October, it died. I am trying to get a return or refund from the company but they keep sending automated emails that make it difficult to respond how they want. I spent $40 and probably will have to take a loss.
I do not recommend their products or customer service.”
“When I ordered, the website had an error and was sent 2 of the same order. I wanted to return it, but the fee was 1/4 of what I paid for the items so I sold them to others instead. Now, while hand washing the french press (due to past experience with machine washing and it breaking) the tip broke on both sides while passing the sponge over it and cut my thumb pretty badly. I thought it was just the machine breaking it, but the glass is of inferior quality, there is no reason it should have broken this way. I will never again by anything from Bodum.”

I've asked twice about returning it. They have ghosted me now and it seems I'm unable to return it as they won't respond back to my request. Avoid purchasing Bodum products.”
“You can find their products brand new in store for way cheaper than what they're selling for on their website. I've already seen it at grocery stores, Target, and Walmart for a third of what I paid! And they don't really have a guarantee on it unless you haven't touched it so you can't return anything. “If I could give them zero stars I would. Bodum Australia are thieves!! Don't bother to purchase anything from this company!! If you make a genuine mistake and order the incorrect item they will NOT refund your money or allow you to return the goods for a credit note. They have a policy called "No refund for change of mind purchases" for New Zealanders which they use to not give you your money back. This is the ONLY company that I have EVER dealt with that will not refund or at least give you a credit note. Spend your money elsewhere!!!”
