“The ladder was arrived within the suggested timeframe. The customer service team was helpful and courteous when I called them but unfortunately I am left unhappy with the result of buying from Browns. The ladder arrived quite damaged, with a large dent in one of the rungs and almost every rung had a minor dent or scratch. It was heavily wrapped in polythene, so I didn't assume anything was wrong until I unwrapped it after the deadline - my mistake and one which I'm paying for now. It's a fairly expensive ladder and I guess I didn't expect a brand new wrapped ladder to arrive with so many dings and scratches. Not quite sure how it managed to get so damaged but please be VERY careful to open the wrapping and check all around the ladder before accepting the product as something has gone wrong with the quality control process between production and arrival.”

“Originally orderred showing my item in stock only to be told a few days later that it isnt and will need to wait a month for delivery. Also deliverred damaged. Top of the ladder was bent with a couple of the pot rivets missing”

“Apparently returns come at a cost of a 20% handling fee. Terrible customer service for a company providing high end products. Very dissapointed and wont be using or reccommending them again”

“Ordered over 1 week ago and still haven’t arrived. No where on the website prior to ordering states it’s a 5-7 day delivery time or I wouldn’t of bought. Will be sending back once arrive! Will be over 10 days once I actually receive the order and the job will have finished.”

“Paid for the item, gave my address and my email for delivery the next day. I get an email the next day which I didn't see till the evening saying that I haven't given a valid phone number (Google autocomplete had pre-populated my phone number) so they wouldn't deliver the item! I found this ridiculous I paid for the item I ordered before 6 pm and expected it to be delivered the next day as promised. When I emailed back Browns they said their courriers. DHL needed a valid phone number to deliver. Well maybe they should get a new career as not providing a phone number shouldn't hold up an order that I have paid for. Its a two-way street if I paid for the item I expect it to be delivered the next day. I've never come across anything like this before. An order which should have come on the Tuesday because of this I didn't get till the Thursday so thanks for that and I won't be using you again needless to say.”

Good Morning, Thank you for your review. As we explained via email. DHL will not allow us to request for a collection without a valid Telephone Number, so that they can provide accurate tracking information & a time slot. I would advise in future, that you check all the information that is required and that you have provided prior to placing your order to ensure that all the information is correct in order to avoid any delays. It states on our website & T&C's that all orders must be placed by 11.30am for despatch the same day not 6pm, so your order would never have been delivered on Tuesday. We are very sorry that your Ladder did not arrive. Our carriers informed us that your item was out for delivery when they in fact damaged your item in Transit and sent it back. Unfortunately, the ladder that you ordered is out of stock until the next shipment arrives or we would have got a replacement out straight away for you. I do apologise for the inconvenience caused.
