“Made a claim, had someone out to look at the electrics that told us there was actually nothing wrong. They were great. However, then we received a letter charging us £350 for confirmed damage to the electrics due to water and threatened to take legal action if we didn't pay. After many calls to the company and zero updates or contact from them, they finally dropped it and said we didn't Have to pay. I'm sure many people, especially more vulnerable people would have paid the £350 due to the fear of them taking legal action. Scam artists, beware.”
“Do yourself a huge favour and avoid this company like the plague. I can’t tell you everything that has happened as I’d be here a week, just know I’ve called both Davies Group 23 times so far and they still can’t get my working phone back to me. They will lie and tell you things you know to be untrue. I’ve been promised my phone back no less that 5 times now and still no working phone. It went in for repair of a charger port and they said it was uneconomical to repair, I asked for my phone back and they said it had been scrapped. They eventually sent a phone back to me with a broke screen. It’s been exactly a month since I sent it away for repair and I’ve had zero communication from Davies Group and I’m still without a phone.”

“Our daughter unexpectedly passed away 2 weeks before our holiday. We cancelled and claimed through our Insurance. They never responded within the five day response period, asked for documents twice, didn’t keep us updated at all, just a standard “we will respond in 5 days” text and when I phoned to say we will be putting in a complaint, I was told immediately that I could have the insurance refund that day. I have no doubt it would not have happened if I hadn’t phoned them. Insurance is not a free service, I paid for it, and is only deemed any good until you have to use it. I am still awaiting the refund. A very poor service. I would check who the underwriters are in future, as I was insurance with a 5star company, and did not receive 5 star treatment. Clearly the death of our daughter did not rate that service. There was no zero on the star grade.”

Pointed out items to adjuster during home inspection, he took photos. Did not include some of these items on his report.
Assigned claims adjuster does not answer telephone, has not called me despite multiple requests. Communication PORTAL via USAA website is next to useless. Questions go unanswered. Requests for assistance go unanswered.
Items adjuster did place on his estimate in some cases are just wrong. As an example the amount of facia damage by hail on my home is incorrect. I have more lineage feet of facia damaged than their estimate.
If USAA is shooting for a low bar by using this company I think they are succeeding.”
“I had to claim for a replacement car key and my insurers use Davies group for this. I was given an address and claim number and told to send all original documents off to them so they can process my claim. All sent, no reply. No phone number available so i emailed through the website, no reply. So I sent another letter, no reply, and another email, no reply.
It is safe to say that there is no point with this lot. If you want to insure something you need to at least be able to contact someone to make a claim. It's basically a scam company who offer a third part service to larger insurers and then don't have to take the flak when they don't reply as the larger company will get all the hassle.”
