“Purchased for use in Portugal. After a car breakdown was unable to connect to the the local contact or the UK. After contact from Easysim I was mistaken and did not realise that you could not use the sim for mobile phone calls in Portugal and are for data only. On using the easysim for data, I had no problem and it worked fine. Now I know the limitations of the sim I would certainly use them again in Portugal. The company responded to my review very quickly and in a pleasant manner. I have only given four stars as the sim does not include making local calls, which I was not clear about on purchase. Otherwise it was a fairly easy process to purchase, activate and was competitively priced.”

I have also checked our support platform and I cannot see any help requests from you which is a shame. Our eSIMs are 'data only' and not designed for traditional calls but you can make calls using apps like WhatsApp and Facetime because they use data. In an emergency, you can switch your Primary SIM on to make a call but your home network provider may charge you for that call.

“Just arrived back from a trip touring Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. Having never had an eSim and having read some of the reviews of eSim in general we were sceptical of usng them but we never had any issues in all the time we were away. The only thing I would say is the instruction video needs updating for all types of phone and upgrades etc (if possible) but it was nothing that couldn't be solved.”
