“Too much focus on dates laws were enacted. Knowing what year a H&S related law came out in no way helps make my workplace safer. If I want to know more about dates or the minutia of H&S laws I have Google!”
“Training completion process is clunky as quite often an employee has received a certificate but the system says the training is outstanding. The Sexual Harassment training has just had a section added at the end for the new legislation rather than being updated all the way through to reflect current thinking - lazy apporach.”
“The course content is fine but not knowing it had to be done on the Chrome platform meant the programme was freezing a lot. I had to attempt this over 3 days which was a bit disappointing.”
“Far too long for what it needed to put over. Questions with one correct answer and three ludicrous answers is just going through the motions rather then testing knowlage.”
“The asbestos course was clear and concise but the CDM course has issues. The biggest issue being the wording of the questions. Specifically the use of double negatives meant that at times you had to work through the grammar just to be able to answer.”
“Didn't like that videos couldn't be bypassed. Had similar/ same learnings over the years and already knew answers so it is frustrating that have to waste my time and watch all videos and slides.”
“I completed a course on Safeguarding. The topic is important, but not exciting and I felt the course did nothing to make it more exciting, although it was clear and conveyed the key points.
I found the assessment annoying, as one wrong answer resulted in a fail and it was not possible to resit the test without a reset from my sponsoring organisation.”
“Your support team (Arran) has been super helpful. What isn't helpful is your system. I've had issues all week with it and the fact that I have to contact you to reset the courses annually is a real pain. If this issue isn't resolved by the next time we have to complete the course, I will be looking elsewhere.”
