With regards to the date of manufacture, these will only have been made 6 months ago, so it is not old stock. If it was well over a year, or multiple years, I would understand and be able to accommodate, but with it being just 6 months old there is nothing further we can do here.
We always try to keep our stock up to date, but there is a point where you can't really get it any newer. By the time a product is manufactured abroad, shipped to the UK, then sold to us from the manufacturer, then sold and shipped to you the customer, significant time has already passed and it will be slightly out from the 10 years given at the time of manufacture, this is just the nature of the item.
