Hi Eddie, Thank you for your review. For clarity, we visited your home to check this issue as it’s very unusual. When Eoin tested your machine, the cylinder hadn’t been fully screwed in, which was preventing it from working correctly. Once this was adjusted, the water carbonated. Your family member was present and confirmed the water was carbonated. He did find that the level of carbonation was on the weaker side so he also tried a Sodastream brand cylinder and achieved the same result. As this was the case with different brands of cylinders tested, this indicates an issue with the machine rather than the cylinder. We brought the original cylinder back and tested it in our own machine, where it worked perfectly. I also spoke with you directly afterwards, and you assured me you would revise your review. As that hasn’t happened, I’m leaving this reply here to give clarity to others. The conclusion remains that the cylinder itself is not at fault. As your machine had been unused for some time, the lower carbonation is likely due to the machine needing a service or having a minor blockage which should be easy to resolve following the manufacturer's guidance. We’ve made every effort to resolve this and are confident our product is performing as it should. James
