Communication with the company was satisfactory but unfortunately the extra instructions sent did not help us move forwards. We were disappointed that we could not fit the fireplace ourselves and in the end paid someone to come in to help. “We wanted to replace an existing fire surround that had been painted with a modern oak surround. I spoke with the company over the phone and sent the dimensions of the old surround (which was still in place) for them to review. They emailed me back very quickly to confirm that it was a standard size. No deposit was needed to secure the order. The new surround was delivered a couple of weeks later and only then did we need to pay for it. Easy to install and a great product. Excellent service and I would highly recommend Designer Fireplaces.”
