“I have just received my Austrian Army Soft Insulated Jacket - it was in the FU Kit "distressed" range - I looked hard to find anything that was "distressed" and found nothing - it was good as new. The Dutch Army Gore-Tex desert ankle boots that came with the same package at £40 are outstanding value. In an earlier order I purchased three pairs of Dutch Navy six pocket trousers - again in great condition and a very versatile and comfortable garment. Will F”

“I bought a pair of haix gortex desert boots last year and was so pleased I ordered a second pair. When the second pair came the back of the boots broke, I emailed them that day and sent them the pictures, they apologize and the next day I had a new pair of the exact same boot. Being an ex army soldier and loving the outdoors I have tried many boots from other sites but will order from nowhere else but here. I've gone on to buy more kit from here and recommend it to friends in and out of forces. Really happy 👍”

“The Dutch Army Haix boots were my first order, and I'm very impressed with both the boots and the service. The boots, judging by the soles were worn once or twice. Any other marks were from storage, as best I can tell. The quality is superb (not surprised as I have another pair of Haix), with soft supple leather, even as near new. I quite like the smart lace system as well. A quality pair of boots at an amazing price. Finally, they arrived the day after they shipped, on a Saturday. I was impressed. Highly recommended.”

“Vey quick delivery .I ordered my second pair of dutch haix grade 1 military boots ,and a french army waterproof unissued.All were ordered 29 march arrived 31 march the jacket was top quality,i am 6ft tall wegh 100kilos and the xxxl was perfect The waterproof was better quality than a civilian one i biught for 200 pounds I will use this company again”

“Returned part of my order at my own cost but was refunded substantially less than the cost of the goods purchased. I queried this with the seller who made another partial refund citing a "clerical error" that was still less than the cost of goods returned. Queried again and was told this was to cover shipping costs despite my original order qualifying for free delivery. I asked to be directed to the relevant part of their terms and conditions since I have never encountered retroactive shipping charges like this despite doing most of my shopping online. Looking at reviews left by others this is clearly a recurring issue. I suggest you disregard the seller's reply stating that they do not engage in this cynical and dishonest practice. I suggest you shop elsewhere. Failing that, be prepared to double check your receipts for "clerical errors" and other discrepancies.”

“Dutch Army - Black Boots – Haix - with elasticated side pockets - Grade 1, £34.00 Really nice boots, great condition, Haix quality and only £34.00 GBP. What is not to like? Can also state that they are lighter than the German para boots, and the soles have a cushioning feel to them. Looking forward to some country walks in these.”

“They send you an item that bears no resemblance to the item shown on the website, and charge you postage. Then when you return it they do not refund you the postage that you have paid to return the item.”

“What a top company! One of the best I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Over the last two months I have bought around 20 or so items and all but two of them arrived quickly and in excellent condition. I would also say that the defects in those two items were not immediately apparent and after a brief and pleasant exchange of emails with the excellent customer service team (Yvette and Steve in my case) they were replaced immediately and efficiently. Hard to see how this company could improve.”

“Ordered a pair of grade 1 boots, minor signs of wear, they had a hole in the toe box of the suede and no insoles and were filthy, after returning them the owner said they met the description of minor signs of wear and the rip in the suede (right on the eyelet which would clearly pull out soon) was "visual", refused to refund postage.”
