“I ordered some timber from their website, but had to cancel the order the next morning. I emailed customer services and the order was cancelled and refunded within the hour. Amazing service! Some companies would take days to cancel the order, and the order might have been sent out before the cancellation was processed, but not Harlow. Harlow cancelled my order straight away and refunded it on the spot. Well done. I would definitely use them again.”

“After searching for a single trellis online I finally found one at Harlow Timber even the local DIY stores would only sell 4 at a time for delivery. Ordering online was very easy and I was kept up to date with delivery schedule. I was very happy with the price and delivery time and the quality of the product when it arrived. I would certainly recommend them to anyone and would also use them again if I needed to.”

“Ordered timber 37 lengths at 4.5m Rang me day before to say they had no stock so could 40 @4.2 for same price- was happy with this offer- When it arrived 2 lengths were snapped- 6 had no “tongue” on the panel and 7 of the lengths were 3.5m and absolutely no use”

“3 rock faced gravel boards were cracked right through, I didn't except them and had another delivery a week later, this time 2 of the gravel boards were cracked right through. Now waiting on a 3rd delivery”

“The oak veneer is high quality on the plywood I purchased with a beautiful grain running across it. The layers are distinct and quality solid. I can also say u can laser cut the plywood with the veneer, however u may need to play with ur settings as the edges can become black rather than brown. But some light sanding can remove this anyways.”

“Doesn't say it's click and collect only until clicked to purchase - so I went to buy to be told I couldn't. Said I would click and collect - told 4 hour lead time. Said I would click and collect for Coalville and left. Then found out it's collect only from Long Whatton. Finally ordered and on collection waited ages whilst a pile of papers were rummaged through 3 times to find my order.”

Cut sheet materials are only avaialbe online, and we do our best to make this clear by placing this information in bold red letters on the listing of all our cut sheet materials. When you select collect only our eCommerce hub at Long Whatton will show with this product available for collect for this reason. “I've used Harlow Timber online before and would rate it 5 star. However, this time it was not up to that standard. You offer a 4 working hour collection, which was 2 days in this case, and I had to chase to find if it was ready. The 4 items weren't together and some PAR had to be cut to my order whilst I waited. The staff were very helpful and polite.”

“Now that Harlows has a website that gives up to date prices and you can order on line it makes it so much easier and you know exactly how much it's going to cost you. When you compare Harlows prices to wicks or B&Q there is no comparison its Harlows every time. Easy pickup order ready for when you get there and very helpful staff on hand. EXCELLENT”
