“good service and price but dissapointing quality of product with voids apparent in material when cut”

“Staff very helpful and friendly. The yard had sufficient stock to meet my requiements after some selection. Even obliged by reducing the lengths to fit in my car. Prices good - lower than expected. The timber is now being used to build a couple of window replacements. Thanks for your service!”

“Great service, good communication when they told me that there had been a delay with the delivery but it was only of one day, so not a problem. Then I realised they have sent me one more piece than what I ordered with no increase in cost, so I wonder if that was as an apology for the delay. The only little issue is that the square pieces of wood are not very neat on the edges and there are some additional patches of wood in the square as if to replace a whole (I used them for pyrography work). I will have to see if sanding them will do the job and be careful to choose the side to work on... Maybe next time I will contact them on the phone before ordering. In any way, I am a satisfied customer. Thank you!”

“Wonderful product though best to add a few extra planks as some were not appropriate, know homes, oil stain and damaged. However, we managed to knit a few bits in the middle and are very happy with the finished result. Good solid tongue and groove.”

“Although it took over 2 weeks for the order to be ready - as I needed very large sleepers cutting to size to replace old rotten garden steps - they were cut precisely to my specification and so fitted exactly. Thank you. It was worth the wait.”

“I ordered wood online for delivery. I did request that I was let know time of delivery so I could be present and tried to follow this up by ringing Harlow Timber. I rang on multiple occassions but no one answered the phone. The wood was great and the delivery was fine. The phone answering was the only issue and hence why a 4 not a 5.”

“Timber straighter and in better condition than I have had from other suppliers and reasonably prompt delivery but part of the order went elsewhere due to carrier cock/up. Timber was not pressure treated, which i failed to pick up on whilst surfing the suppliers.”

“Tounge and Groove was used this week. Real shame that 5 of 8 panels had damage to them under the packaging. Can only assume carriers use as tread boards.🤷 We will need 4 more sheets but would need to consider where from. I have pictures of the various damages.”
