“I’ve been using Headstrong Counselling for a few months now and have found the service to be excellent. The person I speak with is consistently punctual, friendly, approachable, and above all, highly professional. We’ve been working through some personal issues, and although I initially found the idea of counselling quite daunting, I now feel much more comfortable and positive about the process as the sessions have progressed.”

“In the past I have had some counselling and CBT funded by my workplace and/or the NHS. I found these to be minimally helpful and was reluctant to try again, thinking that these experiences meant it wasn't for me. However, the support I've had from Chloe has been excellent. By asking the right questions and guiding our conversations, Chloe has helped me to make tremendous progress and to find myself in a place I could not have hoped for. Her wisdom and sensitivitiy are exemplary and I'm looking forward to soon being in the position where I can move on and manage on my own. I am immensely grateful.”

“My experience with Headstrong has been nothing but positive. I didn't have to wait too long for my initial assessment. The process was smooth and communication has been clear. I felt listened to during my initial assessment and I've been matched up with a professional that I feel safe with. So far my sessions have gone well and its been affordable for me. “I think it's a fantastic concept and I've told many friends and family about it. For many, counselling can be prohibitively expensive or inaccessible for travel reasons, so to have affordable and quality therapy available online is amazing. The turnaround between first getting in touch, to having my assessment and then being allocated a therapist was amazing, and the communication was great throughout. I was absolutely blessed with my therapists (two separate times) who I really clicked with and I got so much from our sessions. I'm so so grateful.”

“Headstrong Counselling was recommended to me by a friend, I'd only done short 6-week CBT over the phone with the NHS before and it didn't really help me as I think I needed more conistency. Even though I think I might not have been the best at talking and making sense, my counseller Ebun really helped me, so thank you so much for your patience, support and listening. The sessions made me feel validated, and she gave me the confidence to move forrward with my goals and life. She was very supportive, calm, and kind, and helped me see things from a different perspective. This service is so helpful and important, so please keep going with all your amazing work :) Thank you.”

“I'm very grateful to Headstrong and the support I have had with them for over a year. I have had two wonderful therapists with them. I was unable to continue with my first one as her placement had ended, even though I had over a months notice our final session was really difficult to cope with at such a vulnerable time. More preparation to parting ways would've been good. I was offered a second therapist, I was very hesitant having to get comfortable with a new person but I still needed that space to talk. My second therapist is excellent and I'm lucky to be matched with her. She has also now finished working with Headstrong but has offered me to continue seeing her privately. Thank you Headstrong for matching me with lovely and understanding people, all at an affordable price for a student/newly grad.”
