Hi Bernadette, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you have not had a good experience with us. I can see your order was placed on the 27th of November and was dispatched from us on the 5th of December following your 3-6 working day dispatch time. Unfortunately with international orders it can take slightly longer for delivery due to the customs procedure. I am pleased to confirm the order was successfully delivered on the 20th of December. Clothing selection and website from an ordering point of view is good. However there is a sneaky little " protect your order" fee that unless you are really careful gets added to your bill. Moreover, the postage costs are high and it's not free to return...the sizing on the chart given for a mans gilet wasn't accurate and therefore the item was far larger than detailed. Consequently returning the item cost me £ 10 which I found excessive. Read the small print carefully is a lesson here ...but will affect me using this site in future I'm afraid.

In order to keep the prices as low as possible, we do charge for a refund when applicable but exchanges are free. This charge can be removed at the checkout but it can be missed. We were sent the wrong sized product and havhad to wait for the return to be recieved before sending a replacement

Hi Geoff, Thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry that you received the incorrect product. I can see our team advised that once the return has been posted back, we would then be able to send our your replacement straight away rather than waiting for the return to be received back at our Warehouse, but it ended up coming back for a refund. The team have since offered a full refund on your order and we have sent over a £10 gift card as well to compensate for the errors made. I am very sorry again and thank you for your patience with us. I ordered wellies. It stated 1 - 2 working days for delivery via Royal Mail Then when I processed order it said upto 8 working days. But I would have an e- mail when my order had gone to Royal Mail. Over 2 weeks later I had not received an e- mail regarding my order. The money had been taken from my account. I chased via E-mail and got a response 2 days later. Then 2 days following the e- mail Holland my Boots arrived.

Very slow despatch, my son left on his sailing trip before the shoes arrived. Wish I had used an alternate supplier with quicker delivery. Yes they were within their standard delivery time but I failed to see it takes the 5 working days to despatch on top of the standard delivery time. My mistake, won’t make it again.

I can see your order was placed on the 21st of September and had a 5-7 day dispatch time. While the jacket I ordered was of a good price and competitive with other shops the delivery is mis-leading. I paid for a service where delivery should have been between 2-4 days but there is something hidden when I called customer service called despatch, unless it is despatched it can't be delivered. I wait over two weeks for the item to arrive and still then customer service couldn't give me an actual date.

Your order was placed on the 10th of September and had a dispatch time of 2-4 working days which we advertised on the item listings and the checkout. As this is the case your order was expected to be dispatched on the 16th of September at the latest. Unfortunately the item was slightly delayed coming into us but was dispatched on the 18th of September and delivered on the 19th. There may have been some confusion over the dates, this was 9 days after the order was placed and a few days outside of our estimated time frames. very good value and fast delivery did not like the automatic additon of some sort of package insurance which if I had been aware of prior to checkout i would hve decline on such a low vale item.

The remaining payment on your order consists of the £4.95 initial postage charge and the £4 return fee. This returns fee is stated in our returns information on the website. Hi, I bought a pair of Seeland wellingtons size 7 on Tuesday paid for Royal Mail 48 kept tracking them and got a parcel delivered on the following Monday 6 days later, opened the parcel to find a pair of Jack Pyke size 12 this is why I gave them 2stars 😡

Purchased a ladies gilet size xxl which when tried on did not even meet let alone fasten. Xxl sizing fits me normally so this company’s sizes are very small and not to uk sizing. Was returned same day as received. Have received a refund less post and packaging and also £6 taken off cost paid so all told for returning an item that is not true to size am £10.95 worst off.

Have no complaints about the product, it’s exactly what I wanted. However, I didn’t receive my item in the 2-4 day expected delivery so I didn’t receive the item in time for when the item was needed.

The trousers I ordered took a while to be despatched and when they arrived they had a fault within the material which meant that I had to.return them. Very poor quality control and very poor management to ask me to comment at this stage of the process before I have received a satisfactory product. What sort of a review do they expect?

Delivery was slow, despite being charged extra for Royal Mail delivery. Goods were returned as the size was 'suspect'. The shorts were smaller in the waist than my other Musto shorts. The returns procedure takes ages, despite chasing up via customer service department. Currently STILL WAITING for the credit to my card. Overall, not a great experience. Comparred to other suppliers in the UK clothing market your processes are slow, tedious and not the way to get repeat business. I have no doubt that I will probably be charged for the return of the suspect goods. You are lucky to get a 2 star rating above.

Payed extra for quicker delivery but my order took a week to arrive. From the sizing guide on the website the item should have been a good fit unfortunately it was ginormous . Plus a little dissatisfied I have been charged postage for the return.

Eventually got my item, however two weeks nowadays is far too long (even though a minimum and maximum window was stated). Communication could have been more proactive. However the price of the item was my motivation. Wouldn’t use Hollands again unless improvements on delivery can be guaranteed.

I bought a women's waistcoat from Hollands Country Clothing, paid a total of £21.90, decided it wasn't suitable, and returned it. My refund was £12.95. This seemed to me an expensive exercise - the staff politely explained the figures involved in this transaction, which meant basically that I had spend £8.95 on postage. Hollands Country Clothing do not offer free returns, it seems, so for cheaper items this does not really work very well. There is an offer of £4 off for the use of a particular label, but I wasn't able to make this work. There was nothing wrong with the goods, and the staff were very helpful. I'm not sure I would use this firm again, however.
