To be honest, good product and competitively priced…. However, if you expect prompt delivery, you will be sorely disappointed!!! Very slow indeed to package and dispatch. If you’re not in a hurry, fine!!

As your dispatch time was 1-2 working days and the delivery was 2-4 working days, your order was due to be delivered between the 17th-21st of May. I am pleased to see it was delivered on the 18th. Wasn’t happy with the trousers I ordered. They must have been a return from someone else as they had mud on them and could see they’d been worn. Not what u expect when you buy something brand new.

Have used Hollands several times and am now getting more annoyed with them. An order several months was above the threshold required for free delivery but included a mystery £5 charge for insurance. My last order was placed a full week before required. Took them 5 business days to ship (not 2-4 as stated) and then 2 business days to deliver so missed the date I needed items for. I do like the range of items they have, but now everyone is used to Amazon deliveries they need to do better.

Hi Stephen, Thank you for your feedback. Apologies that you haven't been happy with our service recently. The Protect My Order fee can be removed at the checkout but it can be missed. I have refunded that charge for you, the funds should be back with you within 2-4 working days. We understand Amazons same day/next day delivery offers convenience and speed for all of their customers. However as a family run business operating a much smaller operation than Amazon, our dispatch and delivery times are different to theirs. I have checked your recent order and can confirm the item had a dispatch time of 2-4 working days as well as a delivery time of 2-4 working days. I have checked the dispatch/delivery and can see it was received in line with the times advertised. The boot is fine but it is too small. I always wear size 9/43 so that's what I bought. But the boot is very tight to the point of being unwearable.

Everything was fine until I discovered I don't get a full refund of the purchase price. I sort of see why no postage refund. But TAX?? Wots that when it's at home?? Something peculiar to Scotland?? You're not going to get much online repeat business with that policy. A pity because your products are that bit different to other outdoor clothing shops.

Hi Peter, Thank you for your feedback. Apologies for the confusion caused by the refund amount. The amount that has been deducted is not the taxes on the order, all relevant tax is refunded. Our returns policy states that is our return label is used to return £4 is deducted from the original cost of goods. As your item was £26.95 the total refund due was £22.95. Unfortunately to keep our prices as low as possible we do have to apply a return cost for refunds. I hope this clears everything up, if you need any further assistance please let me know. I've been really surprised at the slow dispatch time of this company. What was ordered on Friday the 9th February wasn't dispatched till Thursday 15th February. Made worse by the wellies coming up a size small, so an exchange was required. So a product ordered on 9th February, returned on 19th February has only just been dispatched on 28th February. That's a long time to wait!

This means the parcel was expected to be dispatched between the 13th-15th of February, however it was actually dispatched to you on the 13th. quality of the clothes are very nice. However, after shipping me the wrong size garden shoes, and contacting them twice, they did not send a return or refund my payment or offer exchange- poor customer service, great clothes.

Products were ok sadly customer service very slow eventually coming back to be 5 days later. Ordered next day delivery didn’t arrived they did refund the difference in the postage

I ordered these boots because I've had them before, although from a different supplier. The boots arrived in a badly damaged and worn box. The boots themselves had the appearance of a pair that had been previously returned, scuffed and marked. I was disappointed. I will keep the boots because they fit, as expected and I needed them for the following weekend. I will probably buy the boots again, but not from this company. Shame!!

Unfortunately, I’m very disappointed with the service I received. The trousers arrived in a very creased state and I had to try and press them. This is not easy with lined trousers and it took a while to get them into an acceptable state. I realise the difficulty of supplying such items through mail order. However, I’ve purchased the same trousers before in Spruce from another retailer without any problem. Sorry, but I was very disappointed!

Your order was placed on the 29th of November and had a dispatch item of 3-5 working days which was advertised on the item and in your confirmation email. As this is the case your order was expected to be dispatched on or before the 7th of December and delivered on your 2-4 day working service following that so by the 13th.
