About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “We are very pleased with the wide range of lovely wooden toys available to choose from for our grand daughter. Each order has been quickly delivered, the only downside is they the very eco and attractive packaging is then wrapped in plastic!”

“It's surprising to find a traditional toy shop that sells quality toys that last. A good choice of goods that help a child learn through play. You can choose from topic or age so you should be able to find the right toy for the child. Beautifully wrapped, which adds to the traditional feel. Can highly recommend this professional, reliable company.”

“Bought the seesaw stacking animals for our grandson. A piece of the seesaw broke off the bottom. We contacted customer service who were very helpful. A new toy was sent out immediately, no hassle. Would definitely recommend this company, good quality toys, beautifully packaged & great service.”
