About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “Originally came to the site for some kind of car garage, I bought that but saw some other things I knew my grandson would love, the shape sorter is an absolute hit he is sorting them into colours and shapes and is able to push them through the correct slots! He loves it, also bought him the stacking monkeys but he’s just obsessed with the shapes! No complaints here, all three things I bought were well made and kept my grandson entertained, also packaging was lovely no need to wrap! So convenient, lovely products once opened! Will order again x”

“I bought 2 wooden toys, a fire engine and a low loader for my grandsons as Christmas presents as the price was amazing.They were delivered quickly and beautifully wrapped. The quality of the toys is exceptional and I look forward to giving them to the boys at Christmas. I know they will love them and they will last.”

“Excellent company. All but one item bought from them was perfect and as described. For example - The 150 piece dinosaur jigsaw was lovely. The awful item was refunded without question. Will be buying again from them v soon.”

“I discovered this company after an online search. I am very pleased with the quality of the toys. The fox pull along is delightful. I also bought the tractor with accompanying characters which is also well made. Service was excellent and the goods arrived in a lovely package tied with ribbon. I will use this company again.”
