“Delivered took a long time, the prescription was lost? After my vet sent a fax x 2 and spoke to a pharmacist, even after that , I was still inquiring where is my order and then received a response that koala have not received the order. So someone dropped the ball”
“I called to find out the status of my order on a friday and was told it should ship monday. the next week passed and then I received an email saying more information was needed from the vet. So I had to contact them to give them information. By the time I received it, it was almost three weeks.”
“You need to be more aggressive toward your patrons reaching out for there babies prescription. I had two babies tharlt needed attention at the same time. I had to reach out to you and my babies veterinarian to get there meds after no response from you. My vet had to call you to get it done with my intervention after several days of no response. Very important. Pick up the phone for verification. Allow picture of prescription for verification instead of having to verify via email that may get overlooked by a very busy veterinarian. Sorry. Only stating the truth.”
“I really thought I was getting a good deal, but when I received the order and then did the comparisan between Walmart and Koala. Koala is more expensive. I received 60 Vetmedin for 61.80 and with Walmart I received 50 for 43.00. This comes out to 1.88 per pill with Koala. Not a good deal at all.”
“Couldn’t get ahold of the vet to confirm prescription so asked me to do it. Fundamentally, this is the whole premise of koala health. If I have to reach out to the vet, then I might as well go to the vet to buy the medicine. When I emailed to say I wouldn’t be following up with the vet, all the sudden koala said “good news! Vet approved and your order shipped.” Did the approve? Why did I have to reach out to find out my order was shipped? Just a bad business model / operations. If you are going to be a start up, you have to be good at the one thing your company does. Right now, koala is not”
“I tried Koala Health to get a prescription for one of my dogs. 2 days pass and no update from Koala Health so I call them. I'm informed that they will get to my dog's prescription within a week and I should receive the prescription in about 3 weeks. The cavalier and non-urgent response from Koala was appalling! I insisted they Overnight the prescription (almost $200.00) and I eventually received the prescription about a week after I ordered it. I wish Koala was more on the ball because the price was competitive. I may or may not give them another chance. Disappointing to say the least.”
“Took an excessively long time to get my dogs prescription. Had to pay to get meds from our vet or my dog would have died without his heart med. Slow service.”
“The cost is nice, but the shipments and processing is slower than I like. 1st shipment got a nice discount but many bumps and didn't get meds for over a week. 2nd shipment same kind of bumps and delayed shipment again. Running out of meds again before I receive more.”
“While the price of my dog’s medicine was good, it took almost two weeks to receive my order. It was arthritis medication and by the time my order arrived he was suffering with increased joint pain.”
“I thought I would love the convenience of Koala Health delivering pet meds right to the house but unfortunately, our larger dog tore into the packaging and ate two doses of his medication and ruined the rest. So, we're out $150 and have to buy another 6 months of medicine for him. In hind sight, just picking it up at the vet office is probably the safer, and now, more economical route to go.”
