“Because of a prescription issue I couldn’t get the complete script I was after. Granted it was my vets fault, however when I contacted koala about the issue they won’t recognize the original offer… so guess I’ll be looking elsewhere when this order runs out.”
“The website is difficult to navigate and uninformative. The account information lacks details such as what kind of autoships are set up and when they will next be sent. There are no options to pay without saving credit card information. The company is disorganized and lacks the essential products that my dog needs. All of her prescriptions and supplements are either out of stock or unavailable on the website. Compared to other pet pharmacies, this one is terrible and not one I would recommend or ever use again. I’m going back to my other resources and hope my veterinarian changes back to their old pharmacy or a more reputable one. Very disappointed with “Koala.””
“I was offered a 50% discount on my first purchase. I bought a $64 Seresto collar. The online app did not work. I had to call to do the tranaction. They said it would be $32 with my discount. I got off the phone and they sent me a receipt for $64. I called back and they said they would probably give me the discount when the product shipped. What a weird way to do business. When the product shipped, they sent me another receipt with the correct amount of $32. It was a disappointing and confusing process.”

“I chose Koala because they offered me a discount on my first order. The price was good but it took them 5 days to ship and then the package took over a week to arrive (that was not their fault). Because of the delay, my pets meds were a week late. The packaging and presentation look nice but are unnecessary and wasteful. Environmentally sensitive packaging is important to me. Additionally, the 3 month supply of Nextguard expires in May. While it is still ok, I didn’t realize I was purchasing nearly expired meds. I doubt I will reorder from them.”

“Was very difficult to get a prescription filled despite a partnership between our vet and Kolala. Lots of confusion about the prescription Koala had on file and what our vet actually prescribed. Koala kept coming back to me when they should have been able to go to the vet direct. I ended up having to call the vet and ask them to reach out to koala.”
“Easy to create an account, however, when I ordered my dogs prescription, Koala needed to verify a change with me. I was never notified that I needed to give my ok. 7 days had past and and my dogs life savings prescriptions were down to a day. I had to call my vet and get a rush emergency order in to a local pharmacy. When I called I was given nothing but excuses. My dog could have died. Why wasn’t I notified that a change was made and that I had to check back in? Not good !”
“The first time I ordered with Koala, it was amazing. This time started out great, too; when there was a problem getting the RX from my vet, I was called right away and alerted. Fast forward two weeks, I called to check in with my vet, and they had submitted the RX on December 23rd (I was checking in on January 2nd). I then called Koala, and they confirmed that they had it and finally processed it. I had originally placed my order with plenty of time before the next dose was due, but it ended up being delivered 3 days late (delivered on January 16th).
Everyone I talk to at Koala is very kind and understanding, so I don't know if my order got lost due to the holidays or what happened this time. I still plan on using Koala, but I was disappointed this time.”
“I'm sorry, but the order took too long and since it was sent USPS it was put in my mailbox. Because my dog was out of his meds, I had to trudge through a foot of snow to get to the mailbox. I'm 83. Not happy.”
“I placed the order on 12/12/23 and did not receive the shipment until 12/30/23. My dog was out of medication for multiple days and was receiving symptoms again.
The medication did not ship after I ordered it because the system ordered as 1 pill a day instead of 1/2 a pill a day. I always give my dog 1/2 a pill a day and I was simply trying to re-order the last prescription that I ordered, I did not intentionally fill in 1/2 a pill a day. It would be nice if the system saved the prescription I last ordered to make it easy to refill without mixups that cause shipping delays.”
“When I purchased meds for my dog it had "Price" and "Your Price", which was about a $4-5 savings. When I got the email that confirmed my order, that savings was not mentioned. I sent an email to Koala and the reply basically ignored the "Your Price" that was offered ymto me.”
“Placed an order, never heard anything except for the original email with my invoice. Called 10 days later (when my dog was almost out of the medicine we had ordered) and when they looked in the notes they said they had emailed me a question but come to find out they had misspelled my email (which is strange since they sent over the bill to the correct email).”
“I dislike how each order I place automatically gets placed on auto-ship even though I have requested numerous times that I DO NOT wish to enroll in auto-ship plan. The last time I placed an order and an auto-ship from a previous order shipped the very next day draining my bank account. Very inconvenient and inconsiderate. Please fix the issue. Thank you.”
