“I would recommend this course to someone needing more information on Coldfusion”

“I would recommend the training to a friend because I find the instructors are always qualified and knowledgeable; classes are quite good. I would caveat that the person may encounter difficulties with the administration of classes, ensure that Ledet has actually secured an instructor for the class listed on their schedule. Ledet cancelled several classes that were included on a schedule on their website.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed the online class, it was super convenient to attend at my work desk, comfortable settings and much more relaxed than if I had to travel to a new city. This particular class size was under 5 and it allowed personnel to casually be comfortable and open up.”

“I am not sure I would recommend Ledet training? Although the actual training and instructors were very good, dealing with the numerous class cancellations was frustrating. My schedule is not flexible enough to get a cancellation notice a week before the start of the class. Not worth the hassle.”

“I would recommend it. My only complaint was how the classroom was set up with 3 monitors at each desk (2 for students, and 1 for the teacher's presentation) (let me say I liked the idea of this set up, but it didn't work for me). The presenting monitor was too close to wear my glasses, and to far to see from my computer's position.”

“There appears to be different versions of Captivate on some computers in class. Either Mr. Hark or a student or 2 could not get on the same pages at times. A simple thing, I might add, is that Ledet should invest the few pennies it takes to make the classroom entrance more professional than "Acrobat 101" on a small piece of paper scotch-taped to the door.”

“I would recommend Ledet training because of the organized and engaging format of the training. The facilitator was also very knowledgeable. He worked at the trainees' pace and allowed opportunities to ask questions and go in depth. HOWEVER, I WAS MISLED REGARDING THE CHOICE OF RECEIVING THE ELECTRONIC VERSION OF THE COURSE BOOKS. BEFORE MAKING A SELECTION OF HOW TO RECEIVE THE COURSE BOOK, LEDET SHOULD INFORM CUSTOMERS THAT THE ELECTRONIC VERSION OF THE BOOK REQUIRES AN AMAZON READER, I.E. FIRE TABLET. USING A READER IS NOT CONDUCIVE TO LEARNING IN THE ADOBE CAPTIVATE COURSES. WHEN I CHOSE THAT OPTION, THE ASSUMPTION WAS THAT THE MATERIAL WOULD BE DOWNLOADED ONTO A DESKTOP/LAPTOP, I.E. PDF FORMAT. I WAS NOT ABLE TO FOLLOW ALONG USING THE ELECTRONIC VERSION. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT I COULD NOT FOLLOW ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE CLASS WHEN REFERENCES WERE MADE TO THE COURSE BOOK.”

“The instructor, Christopher Breedlove Brown, was fantastic. He is clearly a pro at InDesign, but he spoke at a level that was appropriate for newbies. He was approachable and friendly, and he adjusted the curriculum for the slass based on what the students needed and wanted to know. I am less satisfied with Ledet in general. The facility is outdated, poorly lit and dirty. Specifically, the workspaces and hardware were filthy. Keyboards, mousepads, monitors and chairs were grimy and disgusting. The should have been a coffee pot with individual servings (K-cups) rather than a pot of coffee that sat there all day, burning. There was no one at the front desk, ever; even on the first morning of class to greet students. Pre-class communications were inadequate. I didn't know if my Visa had been charged for the class, didn't know what to bring on class day, and I didn't know if my class was going to be canceled.”
