“I was disappointed that I was not given instruction on how I could track my order by More Handles. I emailed More Handles and although I was given details of when the parcel was due for delivery I was still not shown how to access that information independently. I understand that this can be accessed through an account, but I don't remember setting up an account or password, so was not able to get into this. I asked about my account and no information was forthccoming. Not helpful. Apart from that the service was fine from More Handles and the locks were delivered at the time suggested. I think it is a shame that you cannot pick a time and date that is convenient after ordering the item as you can with other couriers.”

Hi Anthony, Thank you for taking your time to leave a review, we appreciate the feedback. Once the parcel was dispatched from ourselves you should have had a DPD notification. We spoke the morning of delivery over email where a tracking number and delivery time was provided. I can only apologise if following this you were unable to track the parcel, if you are having difficulties tracking parcels going forward if you give us a call following the dispatch of an item, we would be happy to help. We can set up an online account for yourself but once the order has been processed, the order cannot be reallocated to that account if the order was checked out as a guest. Unfortunately, we only know the time of delivery on the day of delivery and this cannot be control to a selected time. We can do Pre 12am and pre 10am delivery but this comes at an additional cost. Hi Mark, Thank you for your review, we appreciate the feedback. Following on from our telephone conversation, I believe the issues came with the brand of the product and not the product itself. The brand supplied was Delta, which is a section of Zoo Hardware. The product supplied was the Zoo Hardware Project Tubular Latch however, this did contain Delta branding. “I would review but 3 emails and ordered Sunday 21/1 and still not arrived when you state next day delivery so should have been Tuesday a week ago today Received today and very happy with the handles Still not great delivery but as you say out of your hands ,maybe a card left to advise no delivery .”

Hi Spencer, Thank you for the review, we appreciate the feedback. The initial delivery was scheduled for the Tuesday however as mentioned this did fail and failed again multiple times through the week until it was finally delivered. In this instance we used DX and not our usual courier DPD unfortunately they do not supply cards on failed deliveries and require a signature to complete the delivery. We do state 3-5 working days on this item, the delivery was made on the 7th Working day. In the lead up to Christmas there was a slight delay with some orders due to the additional strain on delivery companies, I can only apologise regarding the issues. “There are lots of handles to choose from at a good price. The handles we have are very good quality. I have only rated 3 stars as we were notified after we placed the order for our first choice handles that they were out of stock.”

“handles arrived very promptly but sadly the screws provided are too short for most of my cupboards so trying to obtain some longer ones that will still fit!”

“Good service, but need to sort out the screws supplied with their products, two sizes supplied, one too short and one too long for a 25mm thick cupboard door, so all went in the bin and I had to buy replacements from Screwfix. The amount of packaging was also obscene, a plastic packet inside 3 layers of cardboard box.”

Hi John, Thank you for your company review and the positive comments you have made regarding the service we provide. The standard screws that are supplied with these handles are m4 bolts 25mm in length. We do also provide larger bolts which are designed to be cut down to the size required. I can only apologise if you had to purchase more screws. If you do have any queries with future orders, please give us a call and we would be happy to help where possible. Regarding the packaging, these are expensive goods and we do not want the goods damaged in transit. I am sorry that you feel the packaging was excessive but we try to deliver the handles to our customers without blemishes. We do re use all the boxes we receive to try to minimise our wastage. Alternatively, if you would like a sash lock to match the cylinder you currently have and this isn’t applicable, you can return the sash lock up to 30 days and we can replace this item with a suitable product. “Great handles Shame they didn’t come with enough screws to fit all handles. Ended up having to get more screws from screws fix. I was thinking of contacting seller but handles took over a week to arrive and just wanted to get the job done. Rather than wait another week for them to send enough screws. Probably wouldn’t order from them again”

Looking at the order, the reason for the delay was due to the items you ordered being on a longer lead time as stated online. The fixing though is either supposed to come in the packaging of the item or in the outer packaging we ship the goods in. These are something we stock though so would have been able to ship them out straight away. I'm sorry though that they weren't there to start with If you do end up needing anything else then please contact myself directly and I’ll be happy to see what we can offer in the form of a discount. “Generally a good service but I ordered some handles, needed more and called to put on same order. There was no to talk to so I left a message as directed. No one called me back so I had to order again and pay for double postage. The second set have not turned up as now not in stock which is not a huge issue apart from the fact I had to email to be told this. Communication could definitely be better!”

“Goods are as described and right for the job. There is one issue, the company uses DPD for deliveries and they are the worst delivery company by a mile. I did not receive the delivery despite staying in all day and my camera proves they didn't try and this is not the first time this shower has done this. I had to go and collect my parcel, which negates the benefits of home delivery. Please change carrier!”

“The free postage wording is very deceptive. Called to ask for advice before purchasing handle. Told to purchase left but actually needed right hand. Not advised that that particular handle looks better on a double door where 2 handles are required. So had to send it back at my expense.”

Mark, I'm sorry to hear you feel our service was only warrant of a 3 star rating. More handles always strive for a 5 Star service. From this review though it looks more like a product review. The screws supplier are just the ones the manufacturer sends with the items. With the comments you've made though, I’ve passed this onto the manufacturer of the goods to make them aware. “More Handles are fine, but the Made in England door hook, whilst being a very nice item, had uneven casting faults, which meant both sides had to be filed level before the hook sat flat on the door - having done that I am very happy with it …”
