“The courier company DX, were unable to deliver cos they could not be bothered to find the property despite me offering to call them and direct them to the address so I cancelled the order for refund. Pepplegrey are let down badly by their choice of courier company”
“Ordered the Glendale LED mirror as a moving in gift for my daughter who bought her first home. It looked ok when up but the motion sensor which is at the bottom of the mirror is very poor, takes a lot of hand movements to try and get it to come on and the same when trying to put it off. Regret my purchase, wish I’d read a review like this before purchasing. My advice is to buy another. So a week ago I received a reply from Pebble Grey asking me to make contact, I did as asked and submitted a return request due to the poor sensor. A week later and still not had a response. Looks like the customer service is as poor as the sensor.”
“OK, cabinets have now been delivered (thank you). All seems OK now but you really need to sort out your delivery partner-Parcel Force. Their customer service is non existent they really do not care about the end customer. Thats enough from me, Hello, not your fault, but having ordered two bathroom cabinets, with 24hour delivery, I still have not received the cabinets. I have tried and tried to get Parcel Force to deliver, but to no avail! I really don’t hold out any hope of ever receiving these cabinets. It seems impossible to actually speak to anyone about this both parcel force and yourselves. I am at a loss, I have no faith in ever getting my order and shall be seeking a full refund. Which no doubt I will have to fight for that!! Very disappointed customer Please help!!!!!!”
“Order a battery powered LED mirror. I didnt expect this to be super bright, but it was so dull, hardly any difference when on. Website shows it very bright. Only option to return was for me to pay postage as not faulty. Item not fit for purpose and will never shop again with them.”
“I called the customer services to inform that the LED mirror I had received is faulty. They asked me to send a video of the mirror LED not working. The mirror is an integrated mirror where the wires and controllers are inset into the wall. My electrician checked it before installing and it didn't light up. There is no way I can pay for the electrician to come back and test it for me so I can make a video of it not working. Besides I am left with holes in my wall now to fill as we had prepared to install it. Terrible response from Pebble Grey. Wouldn't buy again from them.”
“Item never arrived on the agreed delivery date. Was informed the day after that there had been a mix up with my order (which they had failed to tell me about ) and that "unluckily" the mirror I ordered was smashed and it was the only one in stock for a month. I was offered smaller mirrors which I didn't want as a replacement when I asked for a refund, after several attempts I eventually got reimbursed. Won't be using again.”
“DO NOT BUY!!! DANGEROUS AND SUBSTANDARD
I had two 'Cali Black' mirrors from them, both failed. The first lasted for around 2 months before falling off its supports, the second barely an hour. The original hanging was done by the plumber as part of a bathroom refurb (4 fixings, flush with wall e.g. no issue there). There is a serious quality control issue with the way the support bars are fixed to the back of the mirror (grab adhesive).
When it fell it left live electrical wires exposed and damaged our bathroom worktop and tiles. They're heavy mirrors so could have caused serious injury if it falls on a foot.
I will however also say their customer support (Evie) so far has been very responsive and helpful, full marks there but I didn't buy the mirrors for the customer support they provide.”
