“Service was great but radios do not have the range and volume I expected. Handheld radios have not been very useful. Most of the time of range and cant turn volume up enough to hear them over any back ground noise”

“Not real happy with my intercom system 1 minute my co driver cant hear music and the next we can't communicate back and forth I have literally given up on it . Im ready to just put a stereo system back in my SXS and be done with it .”

“Had issues with my radio and intercom system, but rugged made it right under the warranty. Having said that I am disappointed in my purchase. When you pay that much money and hear the name “rugged” you think they can take some water from washing your utv, but they can’t. Both mine and my fathers utv systems have problems with the radios. Really just seem like overprice beofangs. Cool idea but they need to bullet proof these before they call them “rugged”!”

“You only need to buy so many radios...but if you want the best service and advice, these are the folks to go to. I have gotten the best advise on my radio needs from this company and it ends up saving money rather than other outfits, who might be cheaper, but you end up buying stuff you don't need. I'm just an old guy with little electronics knowlege....who has been Jeeping and Dirt biking, utv, atv riding for over 60 years and while when it comes to electronics, I'm don't have a good understanding, but rugged never makes me feel stupid with my questions...they are the real deal.”

“I had a head set utilizing a 626 intercom and an M1 radio. The one of 2 pair headsets failed within 2+ years of infrequent use. A Dealer returned it for a repair of the left side earpiece and I was informed it cannot be repaired. These were not abused, yet repairs cannot be made??? I cannot recommend this equipment because the service side of Rugged fails its consumer.”

“With having both the mounted and portable radio, it's hard to choose witch on I enjoy most. The handheld radio is nice hunting, and the mounted radio is awesome for camping and off roading. The only thing bad l could say is just getting started and learning what to do. Besides that I really enjoy having both.”
