Very unhappy with the radios. Spent 2K on all the setup. Can’t talk to others reliably. Found cheap radios from Walmart work better.

we have a group of 6 to 10 trucks that travel with us on different trails and the Rugged radios are the radio of choice vs the CB radios they are just better to communicate with we seem to prefer the hand held so the spotter can communicate with the driver sometimes vocally as well as hand signals

Our entire family has a Rugged Radio set up. (Bought them for us for Christmas 2 yrs ago). We love them. Come in handy on the trail. We can radio our group if something is happening ahead on the trail or let someone know we’re headed back to camp. Give them a 10/10!!

I’ve been a part of the “Rugged Family” since my very first SXS. I’m now on my 4th SXS, and still running Rugged Radios. I think what describes then best is their customer service, and their sales. Really says it all. Happy to have them in my car!

Great service and great technical help. All my questions were answered without any issues. Any problems were taken care of and very quickly. I have a lot of Rugged equipment and have never had any issues. Highly recommended.

My experience with Rugged has been terrible. The screen on my radio is extremely hard to see, I get all sorts of feedback, and customer service is non-existent. I went to the Rugged booth in Glamis with my concerns, seeking help. When I mentioned the screen, the tech replied “oh that happens all the time, it’s an old radio, you should buy a new one”. When I asked about the constant interference I was told “it could be any number of things” without any further explanation or assistance offered. To cap it off, I was charged $20 to program my friend’s private channel to my radio. Everyone else who has PCI, got theirs programmed free of charge. Furthermore, PCI was willing to program my Rugged radio for FREE, but the cable was in another employee’s vehicle who had run into town. I even shared my experience on the Rugged Facebook page, which I shared to a number of pages all over the Southwest, and didn’t receive ANY response from Rugged at all. No attempt at customer service, no attempt to remedy my issues, no acknowledgment, nothing.

I have 4 of the walketalkes they work ok but the batteries dont last long. The GMRS has blown a fuse once and sometimes it works and somtimes it dosen't
