“I have bought 5 radios from Rugged in the last 2 years to equip our jeeps and my superduty. I had an issue with one of the radios and after I sent it back they just replaced it with a new one. Great customer service and hassle free.”

“My radio has different Chanel’s then some of my friends who have the older radios. I can’t use their Chanel.”

Thank you for your review! It’s important to us that you have a seamless communication experience. If your radio has different channels than your friends' older models, it might be due to frequency ranges. If your have a gmrs radios and your friends have business band or "race radios" they will not talk to each other. “The hand held radios are great. The only down side is that the regular battery does not last at all. I recommend getting the extended/bigger battery.”

“Good radios, took a little bit to get sensitivity figured out and set on head sets. Works very good now for in car communication and car to car. Coax wire is weak broke the first one by over tightening the antenna, it didn’t feel like I tightened it much.”

“Not want i was looking for. Contacting customer service is not easy. Still nobody has called me back and it's been 3 months! I've called 4 times about my issue and nothing. Stay away if you don't care about Contacting them.”

“Service and tech support were both outstanding. Questions I had up front were answered over the phone and when the product I received had an issue, it was rapidly solved with troubleshooting and replacement of the faulty connector.”
