“Hi, I have been using the rugged radio for almost a year now, makes great communication ridging in groups, funner than it was before. You can communicate with each other on the fly to let them know of a low branch a head or too stay to the right at the “Y” in the road, also letting riders up ahead know there’s a rider down and hold up let’s regroup. Very happy with this Radio and thinking about a second one for my other helmet so I don’t have to keep changing my headgear back and forth.”

“the main issue that I have is water, when the system gets wet it does not transmit, do you make a weather shroud or are your newer radios water resistant.?”

“The radios have been great. The batteries don’t last a day. We don’t transmit a lot and they still die fast. I bought the larger battery it seemed to be better.”

“Rugged radios seem to be of similar quality and functionality to less expensive brands (beofang)it's been hit and miss with my Rugged radios* driver/co-driver intercom. I have had issues with the connectors on the bored not transmitting over the radio. But I still like having the intercom in my vehicle”

“Rugged Radios has been incredibly supportive and they always work hard to meet my communication needs.
