“The initial measure up progress was great. It did take a little longer than expected for install, but it worked with our schedule in the end.
I was a bit dubious about having to pay the full amount before the install actually went ahead, and when there were issues with the install ( 1 roman not operational, and one track wrong length) it took 3 weeks and a few phone calls to get the job actually finished
This part was disappointing, as when they have all your money, there seemed no real rush to complete/fix up their errors”

“To whom this may concern, Kate Le the sales represemtative was absolutely fantastic in her customer service and very helpful in making the right decisions. Without her assureity I dont think I would of gone with Russells.
Unfortuntately after the blinds were installed there was a minor issue with one of the 5 blinds installed that needed to be seen to. The process and the follow up and the misunderstanding internally in your company took the shine off Kate Le fantastic work. Instead of just adjusting the newly installled blinds the installer fixed other roman blinds that were not part of the new installation and was demanding payment. After considerable exchanges of calls over a period of time, not to mention time wasting finally this was waived. This was not pleasant.

“The service and advice from Charmaine Ullberg was excellent although somehow, some of the instructions on my first installation were missed.
The quality of the making has been excellent and I have shown others who have been impressed.
I had two phases of blinds installed. In between the first and second the brand of blinds supplied changed so I was not able to match the colour or other minor details. This was not good. I found the new types were inferior quality eg a plastic chain instead of a cord although the price was similar. The plastic chain makes a terrible noise against the chain housing.”

“It was lovely to have a consultant come to my home and help me choose curtains and blinds for our beach house. The curtains are beautifully made and the fabric is fabulous. However, I so wish the consultant had pointed out that the heavy fabric I had chosen and the full blockout lining would mean that the curtains cover a large portion of the windows when pulled back. I've always liked the triple pleats, but they were not a wise choice for the fabric chosen. I forgot to ask for left over material so didn't have anything to make tiebacks, and have had to use hooks that are not ideal. If I had the choice again I'd go for a single inverted pleat, which would have looked lovely, and not had the same bulk issues. It would also have cost a lot less!”

“Salesperson was pleasant and knowledgable, however, when we asked for black out curtains in the bedrooms, needed to ensure the light would not escape into the room through the tops of curtains, and sugested that they go to the ceiling. We now have to make dormers to ensure we have a dark room to sleep.”
