When I bought my washer and dryer set, I told the salesman the delivery needed to be late in the afternoon as I work 30 minutes from home. My delivery was scheduled for 7-10:30 am. I tried callin my salesman for the past 2 days, no answer and no return call. I contacted your customer service and they scheduled my delivery for the afternoon, I was told I’d get a call 30 minutes before, and they called me while in my driveway. No 30 minutes before. They can’t wait for me to come home. I called my salesman again, no answer. I’m about ready to cancel the order and go somewhere else.

The delivery guys were great! But I won’t be buying with this company ever again! I brought a brand new dryer and it didn’t come with the plug!!!

Ordered Freezer on Monday the 12th. At that time estimated delivery was the 15th. Bait and Switch. Spoke with Michael Brenneke today (16th). He said you are now anticipating delivery to you on the 21 st. I suspect my delivery would be after that. Told by Michael he would "understand" if I found the product elsewhere and got an earlier delivery. So I will be looking into just that. Cannot believe you can keep your doors open with such poor customer service. Steven Raithel

Hey Steven, this is why we specifically specify if the date is "Estimated" vs "guaranteed" by. The dates we get from the manufactures can be unreliable. If the item is in stock then we remove the estimated text. I will give you a call later today so we can work together on trying to find a better word then estimated to inform users that the date is estimated and not guaranteed. Thank you for your feedback as this will help us fix the problem and become better as a company.

Stove sits 4 inches from wall. This cannot be the first time this has happened to someone. Delivery guys were too anxious to get away. Didn't even bother to sweep the floor from mess. Now I have to wait for Spire to look at the line and that can't start happening until the end of the month.

Right now I am a very Unhappy customer. I followed Slyman Bros. procedure and opened ticket #28 that we have a defective dishwasher that needs to be replaced. I reached out again 12.28 requesting an update and there has been no contact.

The customer service is terrible. The one person I’ve talked to is unhelpful and getting information from him is like pulling teeth.

Very poor customer service. Salesperson knew I needed a unit so was uninterested in me as a customer. Didn’t explain anything about potential gas installation problems. No one ever called to apologize about my dissatisfaction at delivery.

Purchased a new refrigerator on 08/02, delivered on 08/04. Refridgerator is not getting cold after waiting 24 hours. Was told to email, damage@slymanbros.com as this was the quickest way to get someone out to take a look, although being a Saturday, they don't know if someone will respond to my email until Monday.

We were not informed that an independent company would do the installation. We were charged an extreme amount ($300.00) to make adjustments to the size of the counter opening which took less than 45 minutes. We were not told in advance of this $300.00 charge. We were told by the installation crew that they would do all clean up but they failed to do any clean up.

This is my third time purchasing from Slyman in over 15 years?! I keep coming back because I love that they are friendly, helpful, priced right and most important - local, and part of my community. We will definitely be back again-thanks!

We paid $900 for a dishwasher the installer called me and instructed me that the customer must have towels ready for him and paper towels ready. Very unprofessional using our personal towels & supplies. This was far from a pleasant experience. The installer damaged my other appliance while installing the dishwasher. This is not the place to go if you have a beautiful home.

Brett Reis needs to learn his products. Doesn’t know the warranty, features or decibel level of washers. Learned only after the purchase when home and doing more research. Very disappointed.

Placed an order for a washing machine that my family urgently needed as several had been sick with a stomach flu over a weekend. Was told it would be out the next day, and I explained when we last had symptoms to make sure that was fine (the delivery date and time would've placed us 36 hours out since the last symptoms in the house, roughly). Spoke to the delivery driver the next morning, explained the same thing to remind them so they would mask up / protect themselves to their comfort just to be safe. Received a call back a few minutes later explaining that they were refusing delivery until we were "well". In the end, I determined their sales team didn't communicate with their delivery team to make sure everyone was fine with our situation. Not fine with me. Simply communicate and be upfront from the get-go about what you're okay with as a company (but apparently there's no such policy here) and don't waste the time of your customers. I requested a refund and have taken my business elsewhere. Having shopped around, I likely could have had a machine the same day it was supposed to be delivered if I would've ordered it from another company.
