“I was contacted promptly by 2 providers - 1 declined the opportinity to quote. 1 provider attended in person which was appreciated. Unfortunately I will not proceed with the proposal (to fit a battery to my existing sytem) as there are few provider who can or will install anything other than Tesla - apart from the 25 year (my calculation) payback period, I have a fundamental objection to supporting Elon Musk's endeavours whereevr possible. Having said that, providers were prompt, knowledgeable and courteous.”

1st one replied immediately, representative came out and spent several hours with us - very professional.
2nd company would only do a zoom meeting which we declined.
3rd company again came out to our home, spent several hours with us, explaining the system and working out with us exactly what would suit us best.
We received quotes from 2 companies, both very thorough and professional, we could have chosen either of them.

“We received 3 quotes, all recommending different systems and prices. That made decisions tricky. We settled on the people who actually visited as a preference and priority - twice. One on one exchange was critical for clarity. The one aspect of the process so far that we have struggled with is the idea of our existing inverter, panels and racking, as well as 2 panel solar HWS, tank & gas booster being trashed or recycled. We think they deserve to be re-purposed. NRG understands our position and has accommodated it. Even if the gear goes for nothing, that would be a better outcome for us. Again, the personal exchange, face to face, has been important.”
