“Been very happy with our pan. Was a little worried about the seasoning process, and whether things would stick, but neither have been a problem at all. have cooked all sorts of things in it and alwas been great. now decided to get a bigger one too.”
“Ordered a Noni pan and arrived in 48hrs. Purchased as a gift for my son who is a chef . Bound to be a valuable addition to his toolkit. Highly recommend.”
“Came across these frypans and woks purely by accident, and what a great accident it has been! Our cook wears we're well overdue to be replaced and it all came together with the Solidtecknics - no harmful chemicals coating the pan, solid but light, looks great and big bonus they are made in Australia (love the map of Australia in the handles). Cooked our first meal in them last night -brilliant! We'll certainly be spreading the word.”
“Pretty happy after the first use. Preheated it, used oil, and I was shocked at how well it did scrambled eggs. No sticking, which was my biggest worry when moving from teflon to wrought iron. I bought the small skillet, and I will likely buy the larger one soon.”
Hi Karen,
Due to recent changes to US import tariffs and duties, we made the decision to ship Kickstarter orders directly from our Sydney factory, rather than through our Chicago warehouse, so that backers can receive their items sooner.
Unfortunately, during this transition, there was an issue with the tariff code documentation, which has required us to reissue all consignment labels as instructed by customs. We’re currently waiting for parcels to be released and delivered back to us so our team can reissue the shipping labels and we can ship them back out again.
We appreciate your patience and are truly grateful for your continued support and understanding while we work through this. Your order is secure and will be on its way as soon as possible once the new customs clearances are approved.
Warm regards,
The Solidteknics Team
“I bought a large range of Solidteknics cookware many years ago and I love cooking wih them everyday, from lightweight pans and camp ovens for our caravan travels to our daily cooking, baking, frying at home. Every piece has grown with it's own character which I know will be handed down through our children and grandchildren. Highly recommended.

“I wanted to buy from an Australian company, but it's quite thin compared to cast iron - meaning it does not hold heat as well and transfers heat quickly meaning it is vulnerable to losing shape on smaller gas rings.”
Hi Angus,
Thanks so much for supporting Australian-made and for sharing your thoughts.
There are some key differences between our wrought iron pans and cast iron. In short, AUS-ION™ does everything cast iron can — just better.
While cast iron is certainly another great alternative to disposable, coated pans, our wrought iron takes it up a notch. There are many advantages to our wrought iron: AUS-ION™ is lighter, more conductive, and more energy-efficient. It heats faster, cooks more evenly, and won’t crack or break (which cast iron is prone to). Plus, our patented handles stay cooler for longer, making cooking more comfortable and enjoyable.
Spend a little time getting to know your new pan, and you’ll quickly see how exceptional these pans truly are.
Feel free to reach out to our customer service team if you require any tips.
Warm regards,
The Solidteknics Team
“These products are of excellent quality and will last more than a lifetime and the product range is growing and developing and improving the products. I have Pans Knives Sharpeners and baking sheets and i us them all in prefernce to other products”
“It's great, followed the instructions, heated slowly. Cooked a steak perfectly. Will discolour and stain, but it's solid steal built to last. Wish I bought the next size up”
“Switching to very highly conductive and non-toxic Solidteknics cooking surfaces four years ago has been a game-changer for our family. From elderly mother to preteen, we have seen the health results.
The same food now tastes significantly better to us when cooked on the properly hot, very, very clean Aus-Ion. (Only when we switched to certified organic ingredients twenty years ago did we notice such a huge difference in taste).
Ditto for the slow-cooked chicken bone broth, lentil soups, and humble daily porridge in our no-nickel Noni.
Amazing.
Only wish we had found these sustainable pans on Kickstarter ten years ago instead of four.
Buy any Solidteknics Aus-Ion and/or Noni piece you can, whenever you can (we have).
Life changing.”
“Wow, Waiting with valued Anticipation of what will it be…… And Presto it arrived and WOW I'm more than impressed with the quality and my firsthand cook with the TBones was absolutely delightful and delicious. This my Fellow Cookers is a Pan for Lifetime and my story begins”
“This is so good. On the second use of my pan I cooked scrambled eggs and they didn't stick. I was as surprised as can be because I thought they would, but I wanted them. My steak is the best and it is so easy to heat and clean up after. Best is its the only pan I need. Service from the company was tops aswell 👌”
“Superb iron cookware. It takes a little while for the seasoning to settle in properly, which is a bit fiddly. Once it does, however, it's nearly as non-stick as teflon while being far more durable and far less environmentally unfriendly.”
“We love our Solidteknics cookware. We have both Noni stainless and Aus-ion pans. I was initially a bit scared to use the iron pans because I thought they'd be difficult to use, having been used to chemical non-stick pans. But once I started I realised how easy they are to use and care for (basically wipe, rinse or wash, depending what you've been cooking) I wouldn't and wouldn't want to go back.”
“Large pan is solid but not too heavy, cooks great, no stick. Australian made and owned, a product that will last a lifetime, it's a nobrainer. Money well spent, I love it”
“I saw a video from "The Culinary Fanatic" introducing the Solidteknics Aus-Ion pans and bought their smallest pan (made 10/02/2017) and it has become one of my favorite egg pans (also their satin verstion).
I have since bought many different sizes and styles, including their Satin, Quenched and Stainless versions. I am hoping that they will make their original small pan in a quenched version. Note: there are some glass lids that fit quite well. Happy cooking!”
