“I have one of the first watches made by Sternglass. I purchased about 3 years ago. Still beautiful. Still works well. I still get compliments on it. I thought I would try similar with a black face instead but found that on arrival, the change was not worth the cost. But I definitely recommend Sternglas.”

“I was given a discount just on the leather band. Thank you whoever you are in Stermglas. Deliver is efficent and fast. Took 3 - 4 days to reach from Germany. That is fast. I am very satisfied with Sterglas back ground crew who is compassionate, helpful and friendly. Hope Sterglas keep up the good and forge ahead in the competitive watch industry. Innovation on the notion simlpcity (my oppion). Your watch prices is reasonable to the mass. The mass customers nowadays change watches like changing handphone. I am the older generation so I kept what I love. They is life in every watch (automatic) it have a heart. So owners should take care of the watch cleaning, appreciating all fine details the watch. Better than keeping a pet. Which have life span but wind the watch it will be alive again heart beating. Finally attend to finer things of the watch the movement, workmanship, needles,printing, colours,shape, comfort, design able to last if possible forever. Key to success in watch manufacturing is to show craftsmanship unknowingly love it forever and kept it. Watch collectors collect watches to appreciate while and not just wearing it. I am beginner at 61 going to retire. When I saw your watch I fell in love with it immediatelly Naos Automatik 38 mm Black. Even the letter K not C I loved it. Good decision have your own style. “This is the long review…enjoy! I was looking for a watch that will fit three roles – a dress, business, and casual watch. Also, I was looking for a watch with clean, simple, elegant design, and with an automatic movement. I studied many watches, and I narrowed my search to either a Junghans or STRENGLAS watch. I picked the STERNGLAS NAOS AUTOMATIK for the following reasons: OVERALL DESIGN AND WATCH FACE: The STERNGLAS design is Bauhaus-inspired, simple, and clean. It is a very elegant design. I especially liked the position of the company name, automatic, and date window along the 12-to-6 o’clock axis. The STRENGLAS design looks just as good as the Junghans Max Bill watch. CASE SIZE: The case diameter is 38mm – this is perfect for my 178mm wrist. WATCH CASE: The watch case is 316L stainless steel – this stainless steel has good corrosion resistant properties. The case is a little thicker to accommodate the automatic movement and this was acceptable – the watch wears like a thinner watch. WATCH CRYSTAL: The domed sapphire crystal (with anti-reflective coating) is clear, and the watch face is easy to read. The sapphire crystal is durable – in comparison, plexiglass will scratch very easily. The standard Max Bill crystal was plexiglass. WATCH MOVEMENT: The watch uses a mechanical automatic movement (Miyota 821A) with hacking. I wanted a change from quartz movements – my experience with quartz-movements is that they die after the second or third battery change when the gasket is damaged, and water/debris enter the movement. WATCH STRAPS: Good selection of beautiful leather and metal straps; the straps come with easy operating attachment pins. WARRANTY AND MANUALS: The watch came with a two-year warranty and the manual is web-based. There are also easy to follow instructional videos on YouTube. SHIPPING: DHL is experienced with international shipments; and the DHL Express shipment arrived on-time. For my watch, the shipment time (from order to delivery in the US) was 5-days. That included 3-days in US Customs/DHL processing. PRICE AND VALUE: The price is reasonable and “on-target.” The STERNGLAS watches offer a great value compared with other watches. RATING AND RECOMMENDATION: I have worn my STERNGLAS watch for 14-days now and it is great. It looks great and is keeping time within 5-sec per day. STERNGLAS is a start-up/microbrand watch company that has produced a great Bauhaus-inspired watch. Yes, I highly recommend this watch and company and give them 5 out of 5 stars – cheers!”

“This was my second purchase of a Sternglas timepiece: the Hamburg Edition Küste. Again, I am highly satisfied with my buying experience and purchase. Also, very pleased to contribute to the Küste gegen Plastik (Coast against Plastic) initiative with my acquisition. In this occasion, I contacted the client support team with a request for swapping the strap that originally came with the piece, which they kindly did. The delivery was even faster than the first time and, again, in a plastic-free parcel. The timepiece: Gorgeous meaningful design and color selection in a well-constructed watch. The engraved case back adds a nice touch to it.”
