Poor customer service. I've been trying to get in touch with the company to return the watch I purchased, but they haven't been responding to any of my requests. The watch I received is much smaller than I expected, and it's just not what I was looking for. It's frustrating that the company isn't addressing my concerns, and I'm disappointed with the overall experience.

I ordered a watch and received it. A few days after wearing it, the winding stem was broken. I'm really disappointed. This is not a qualitative watch and for 200 euros it is a scam....

Just received the delivery of a Hamburg Argo limited edition today which was a clearly used product. Customer service was trying to convince me it is normal for a new watch to have the foil detached/ reattached poorly, scratches on the strap and signs of wear. This is what everyone should expect in a new watch, right? Why not simply accept that you have sold a returned/refurnished product instead of a new one? The Hamburg Argos model is a 1499 limited edition which apparently you cannot order it via the main website anymore. I happened to order via a direct link I had saved in my browser and was showing under 1% available, so probably they're currently just selling the returned items on this model now advertised as "new". Having said that, I was willing to buy the Naos model instead (not willing to risk another refurbished on the Argos) and only get a partial refund, however customer service wouldn't give a toss offering any solution. Good luck with such an attitude Sternglas. In the cut-throat watch industry you won't get too far. And you really shouldn't.

Poor quality. If I could give zero stars, I would. I received the Berlin watch as a gift and in less than a week the strap broke. Customer service was of little help, simply informing me that the strap is not covered under the warranty program. Waste of money.

If your strap has broken due to a material defect, we will certainly replace it for you. :) Please send a photo of the defect to our customer service so that we can get the best overview of the issue. You will understand that the wear and tear of straps through daily use is not covered under the two-year warranty, as this wear and tear is dependent on factors such as skin/sweat, etc.

Very disappointed with the carrier’s service. The carrier delivered the package to the wrong address and I have no way of getting a refund or sending a new watch. I have no response from Sternglas support and the carrier…

Don't worry :) - Your package is, of course, insured! If you haven't received your order, we will initiate an inquiry with DHL or refund your payment.

I had 2 Sternglas orders cancelled. One through an authorized retailer (hsJohnson) and one through Sternglas directly. The first order was cancelled after 3 weeks of waiting as the retailer said that Sternglas never delivered the product to them. My order through Sternglas was cancelled, despite me working closely with their team to get an order in before Christmas. My order now won’t arrive in time. Very disappointed with my experience.

What went wrong..? Well, this company do not reply to emails (I sent an email Thursday 23 November at 18:24 GMT). I called their phone number which costs me a high fee because it is a German phone number and there is only a recorded message without ability to speak to a human (the message of course is in German not the International language of English). How does this company expect to sell to non-German countries? Please will you look for my email of 23 November and respond (today is 29 November)

Get ready for the worst customer service ever for USA customers. The watch quality is good for Naos women though it did stop working just 1 year after I bought it. It started lagging behind, then it was dead. Like any customer, I reached out to customer service 2 months ago. It took a couple of weeks to sort out the shipping issue because it is DHL. In US, DHL is rare, they have no shops. Finally I managed to ship it to Germany. I can see thanks to DHL link the last time my watch was seen was in Hamburg more than 1 month ago. Then it's gone. None of their support people gave or give any updates, zero notifications on what is going on, clearly they are neglecting customer service/ repair process in this day and age of real-time customer service and comms. I have zero news on my watch though it cost $200 and broke down in a year.

For the return shipment by DHL Express, the package does not have to be dropped off. I’ve still not received my item after 2 months from ordering. And I emailed them and didn’t get a reply in English until I asked for one. And then they told me there’s nothing I can do to resolve the issue of changing my delivery address. So, lost my money.

If you scroll down in the message, you will find the text also in English. :) It's possible that you received the order confirmation or shipping notification in German. We apologize for that - there was a technical error, which we promptly corrected. :) Unfortunately, it was no longer possible for us to change your address as the package was already in transit. By the way, it was delivered to the address you provided during the order on April 17. We always rely on our customers to provide the correct address when placing an order. Once the goods are shipped, we are unable to modify them. Best regards from Hamburg!

The customer support is poor and slow. Not until you claim for a refund via Paypal you get an answer. With this kind of customer care I don’t think they will be to to long in business. And when you actually get the watches they stop working within a week.

Even though they make some of the most beautiful watches ever, especially for Bauhaus fans, the service wasn't as good. Before I sent the watch back the communication was good, prompt, and on point. Until the moment they sent me the link for the Return address, to which I sent the watch back through regular post, It wasn't after two days after I registered the return that they sent me an email that the return would be handled via DHL. As I already sent them an email when I posted the watch through Montenegro Post and sent them the Tracking Number, that info didn't much matter to me, and of course I was hoping that the watch would reach them soon. That was a mistake as they actually didn't track the watch at all, and also never accepted the package apparently as it returned back to me in Montenegro after two months of traveling. Also, on the package there was a note from Deutsche Post that nobody came to pick up the package at the post office. So, the watch is back with me after two months since I sent it to Germany, and I am going to keep it like it is, as I don't have any energy left to deal with the matter. And it is a shame as the watches are beautiful, and I hoped to buy more, but it is what it is.

Sternglas sent the watch to a wrong address but that was corrected by somehow contacting DHL Tech support. the watch arrived malfunctioning. Sternglas sent me another watch again to the exact wrong address. This time it arrived somewhere in Baltimore Maryland. I'm in Puerto Rico. Was sent to the wrong address for the secound time. This time I couldn't retrieve it. DHL said it was Sternglas who could change the address now. Up to now, I don't have a viable watch.

Enjoy the "less is more"/ simplicity design. Great ! There is a problem with the model I have recieved . It goes "faster and faster" . Show incorrect time !

This thing broke within a month of me buying it. Doesn’t tell town accurately. The one thing you want a watch to do well. My cheaper timex works better.

Today I got the new watch but the position of second hand is not correct. It’s not still fly back to 12 o’clook when I reset the timestop.

Dear Kraising, thank you very much for your feedback. Indeed, it can happen quickly with the Tachymeter that the second hand does not find its way directly to the 12. But this can be fixed quickly. Please pull the crown once to the last position and then press the upper button. This way, you can adjust the second hand to the second and bring it back to the right position.
