“Special design, original colour combinations, only the quality still needs to be worked on”

Moin! Thank you for your detailed review. First of all, we are glad to hear that you like the design of our watches. Regarding your other points. It is true that there are more expensive movements but the Miyota movements are very reliable with a good price point, which lets us offer afforadble watches. The power reserve of most of our watches are up to 40 hours if the watch is almost constantly worn. If you were it irregulary you can wind it up by hand to ensure that it runs for approximately 40 hours. We are sorry to hear that you had to change your straps after one year but the straps are made from natural materials and may wear out faster than artificial ones. “Ich habe 3 Sternglas Uhren. Alle sehr flach, das liebe ich an Sternglas. Die neue Uhr ist wesentlich hoeher und das Stellraedchen verursacht in meiner Haut eine unangenehme Irritation. Ab dem 19. Maerz bin ich wieder in Hamburg und wuerde diese Uhr gerne wieder eintauschen gegen eine flachere.”

Moin Uwe! Vielen Dank für Dein ehrliches Feedback. Es freut uns sehr, dass Du das Design unserer Zeitmesser so schätzt. Ich habe gesehen, dass Du Dir vor der Naos, eine Berlin gekauft hast. Die Berlin ist eine Quarzuhr und daher flacher als die Naos Automatik, da Automatikuhrwerke konstruktionsbedingt größer sind als Quarzuhrwerke. Falls Du deine Naos Automatik weiterhin umtauschen möchtest. ist das natürlich kein Problem. “I have bought the Naos Sport and I am very happy with the watch, design, dial, compination of red strap and black body. The 3 stars are given by me only for the lack of antireflection layers in the watch crystal. I hope Sternglas improves that in the future!”

“Very nice and well packaged watch but the film on the glass was not well applied: will it be a return? However, the watch is intact. However, there were some difficulties with shipping: no information, not even the shipping number! Sternglass support was completely absent at first, then they finally showed up and solved it: only 3 stars for this reason.”

“The item I purchased, the Berlin, is a pretty watch. The disappointing aspect of it is that the leather band is too short. Indeed, I can only buckle the band at the last hole (and my wrist is not that large). It works, more or less, but it would be better if the band were at least an inch longer and it had 9 holes so that I could buckle the strap on the 5th hole, or in the middle. Food for thought.”

“It’s very comfortable and looks great with the green and bronze pvd case but the hour and minute hands are not contrasted enough to make this an easy read. I may have to unfortunately treat it more like a fashion watch than an actual daily watch. Looks are a 10 but use is a 4.”

“Watch is beautiful! The only complaint I have is the noise from moving around. I have other automatic watches with no issues in noise, but this one does fairly make a decent amount of noise when moving. Other than that high quality and beautiful watch”

Moin Anonymous, thank you for your feedback :). I understand your concerns - I had to get used to the audible sound as well. Yet, It is not uncommon for your watch to make sounds, and in some mechanical movements, these sounds are actually necessary. The reason for this is the presence of clearance spaces between the individual components. These small spaces are necessary for the parts to move freely and regularly. Due to these clearance spaces, the rotor can be distinctly heard during certain movements. “The tachymeter has a nice looking dial but is overpriced in my opinion. I would be happy paying $200-$240 for this piece. After spending $340 I don't feel like I have gotten my money's worth. The movement could be better and there are better movements out there for this price range. My suggestion is do more research than I did. Over all I decided to keep it.”

“The watch looks beautiful, but it runs fast a couple of minutes a day which is probably too much. But then, it an "automatic" which is what I wanted The delivery by dhl, wasn't to my address as I had to collect it. Still I liked the watch despite these issues”

Moin from Hamburg, thank you for your feedback ! Basically, during production, the second hand is pressed onto the second wheel. While it's theoretically possible to align it perfectly with the markings on the dial, it's a highly complex process that usually only high-end watches with four-digit prices can achieve. Unfortunately, it's not feasible for us to make it more precise and still stay within our price range. I asked our watchmaking workshop if it's possible to adjust the second hand afterward. The watchmaker told me it's technically possible but not recommended because it would require disassembling the entire watch. Also, due to natural influences, the hand could slightly deviate again over time, making the adjustment temporary. I'm sorry that this effect bothers you. You're welcome to return the watch free of charge if you can't live with it. We also have various quartz models without a second hand that might suit you. :)
